Quote: jeffspicoli6969How much money should I win at a table? For example do you need to win a certain amount before the casino "kicks you out and bans you" For example should I keep my earnings under $1,000, lets say I'm up big about $800 should I keep myself under the radar by purposely sevening out a few times and then toke the boys and leave with my $800 ? I don't want to get flagged from a casino or banned but at the same time I want to win and keep winning at what point should I walk away, once I'm over $500, $1000 or do I have to be in the $10,000 range before they flag me or shut the table down?
No casino that has their head screwed on straight will kick you out for winning money at craps, unless you're violating their house rules (by not hitting the back wall for example). If they do, you should have no problem taking your money to a different casino.
So, short answer, don't worry about winning too much. Long answer, well, I'll let someone else take that one.

You probably shouldn't win any :)
Dice control: Hmmmmm. Yeah sure! Good luck with that.
Quote: thecesspitIf you can purposefully seven out, there's enough dice tables in the world for you to make plenty before you get barred from the golden goose. Just don't tell anyone else what your doing.
Exactly right. But nothing like newbies with visions of sugar plums in their head.
You cant stay under the radar if you are a dice controller or a dicesetter. It is not the amount of money
you win, it is what you look like.
I played at a casino in the vegas area and was stopped immediately because I set the dice and
and threw in a motion taught by a couple of schools. I had not made any money. the next time I
got there I was not allowed to even throw the dice.
went back a few months later and asked them to set the dice tops on a certain number and threw
to a different location on the table and made a lot of money they said nothing. Few months later
tried it again and thought well we are over this nonsense and I tried to arrange the dice differently....
end of story..no play.
Had nothing to do with money.
I just got back from a month in vegas.... I tried a little experiment.... I shot the dice with the typical
school shot and then with another shot I have that is completely different. I tried hitting and missing the back
wall with both shots.
In every casino but 2 that I missed the back wall I was warned immediately and they were then watching
like nuts.... not once, not a single time was I warned or watched when I missed the back wall with another
type of shot.
Most of these casino's in or near vegas know about the dice schools and what their players look like, and if looks
like a duck, walks like a duck..well you understand.
Also a lot of people try to set the dice and then just throw, giving away the notion that they know anything
about what they are doing.... the casino's see that was well and you wont be bothered at most places.

Care to ID the casino?
in the Vegas area have been conditioned by many of the dice schools that show people one way to do a shot
and then they show up and do it, in addition, some schools actually take students to a casino to practice, all
shooting the same way, and trading places so they can shoot from the same spot.
The vast majority of these players could never beat the casino, yet they have messed it up for the few
that are ok.
The good news is that most are so bad at it that over time it may actually help......
My feeling is they have the house advantage, and if you pick up the dice and throw them in a reasonable fashion
they should not give any shooter a hard time.
dicesetter
They are really only roll playing [no pun], and assume they will receive larger tips if they pretend that you have "the magic". Similar to when a hooker tells me "oh your so big". It's just part of the entertainment, enjoy it until you fall off.
I enjoy trying to figure out how the lady disappeared or the magician pulls a rabbit out of his hat, but I don't really believe it, and I agree with dicesetter, the dealers should not take away from the entertainment by being surly about someone attempting to coerce the cubes.
I like to throw pretty and tell the box person to call for new chips before I empty the rail. It gets the mood going. What is with these people? What was Vegas's craps table hold in '13, 300 million dollars IIRC? DI's are not a threat to that bottom line, but running players away with lousy attitudes is. But then again according to Steve Seer in the book "Whale Hunt in the Desert", the owner doesn't care if all the low value players come or go, what matters is the Whale's, and they often don't play on the main floor anyway. The sooner management can run low value players away from the tables the sooner they can fire all the craps dealers and just have bubble craps for the plebes. No labor cost, no dice, no dealers to pay payroll taxes on, and more floor space for slots.
They have the right to mis-manage. Take this game back from the mba's who have turned the strip into a gambler's "skid row", this is our game and you pay to play the way you want. If they give you one little bit of guff, give it back "in spades". Ahigh provides a valuable service, I hope he is still roaming the tables and teaching arrogant dealers who pay's their salary.
