I assure you NokTang -- stay at Caesars frequently and you'll see all sorts of mistakes, but they don't mean it isn't a great place.

I have no reason to dispute you got married at/on a craps table at Caesars.

We all still dispute this report about now many items, including arrival at midnight with a reservation and your room not being "ready", arrival late at night and being booked into an occupied room stumbling in on two sleeping women, being scammed on a gratitude on a room service charge as well! I always tip in cash BTW, not that you asked. I also always double lock my room door in hotels so someone couldn't walk in key or otherwise unless management. Rooms not ready at midnight? Again Alan, these things don't happen at four and five star resorts. That's what people pay big money to avoid happening along with the luxury atmosphere. We must combine these reports with your claim of witnessing 18 yo's in a row at said property. It leaves us not saying you are a liar but that your stories require a more fine tuned read. This isn't a comedy routine, we rely on information on this site. I'm currently licking my wounds on the stories by Wizard himself about sportsbooks refusing $25.usd parlay wagers. Some things are difficult to believe, some impossible to believe. I hope you understand the difference? Happy New Year.

You really think I made it all up? Do you think I need the attention? Actually, I want to know why you constantly do battle with me and challenge me?

Not constantly. I enjoy your posts and admire people active in communities like this one. You don't insult people, only their intelligence. Nothing to "challenge" either. I don't believe you, but if the world does and things such as the 18 yo's in a row on a casino table such as Caesars are something folks believe, more power to you and them.

During one session, it seemed like there were 15 or 20 yo's tossed. If I didn't know better, I'd say in a row!(In a row makes the story seem remarkable so I'll say that!)

I requested a specific room, number 123. On arrival at midnight, it wasn't ready. It seems they had rented it out to another guest who checked out as agreed, at 11 pm.(ditto, leave out this detail and it gets noticed)

My son had invited, unknown to me, his girlfriend and her mother. He had added them to my reservation, all of it to surprise me. When we arrived, they were in the room fast asleep.(humm...lets leave this alone)

I ordered room service, the food was comped of course. But tips are rarely comped. I didn't have any change so I just added $5.usd to the check and signed for it. The total breakfast of $50.usd showed up on the computer which was adjusted when I advised it was to be comped via my player club.(makes perfect sense told like this, which is most likely what happened)

Nok tang, the tips are automatically added to your room service check, If you enter a tip, it will be an additional tip, over and above the automatic 18%.

the 18 yos aside (because you weren't there so you can't call me a liar), what lie about any other incident am I telling? Call it out. Say "this ____ is a lie." Say it.

Anyhow, not my style to call anyone a liar. The stories are fun and funny but exaggerated as I indicated. My rendition of them was boring, but yours was an instant hit. The actual events were closer to mine. The 18 yo's in a row was called out by everyone who has ever stepped up to a craps table. The rest of your stories about Caesars while as I say, possible, very unlikely at a property such as Caesars. They don't need to nickle and dime on room service charges. People are and should be fired for such things. Same with the room reservation management. Good people are hired and good things are expected, not some hodge podge of events as you outline.

Looks like it's getting close to that moment where we chose sides.
Me first! 18 yo's in a row? Really?

Did I mention I was alone the night of the mermaid thing? Never could find the proper orafice.

Well my friend, that's what happened. And I am putting my good name and reputation on the line. In fact, I can back up all of the events.

Now are you prepared to call me a liar? Or do you work for Caesars Entertainment? If you do work for Caesars it will be easy for you to check the records on my last trip. You also would know how to contact Jimmy Wike who at the time was casino manager at Caesars and who the executive management team sent to talk to me about the New Year's fiasco. My son checked into that room with me with the two women in bed. Oh and the night the room wasn't ready? Her name was Donna -- should I introduce you?

Look... I'm not asking anyone to believe the 18 yos. I didn't believe it was happening either or I would have thrown a nickel on the bet.

But don't say I lie about screw ups at a hotel, even if it is Caesars Palace. And I don't have to exaggerate anything. It's not like I am a lonely anonymous Internet poster who needs attention.

Oh... and did anyone get fired over adding "tips" to my room charge? I don't know. I don't care. I just wasn't going to pay them, and as a result of the discrepency I was not charged for any tips.

I don't understand the comment, NokTang?? What do you mean by "Caesars doesn't have such oversights"? Are you suggesting that I made this up? Are you suggesting that my room was made up properly?

How about the time a few months ago when my son and I showed up at Caesars at around 2am after driving in from LA and they gave us our room keys (we shared a room) and the room we walked into had two women fast asleep. Would you suggest that didn't happen either and Caesars can't make those mistakes?

Here's another one: I ordered two room service meals on my last trip. I had my Total Rewards comps take care of the room service charges EXCEPT that the tips must be paid (can't comp the tips with TR credits). But the tips for two meals on my TV check out screen showed as being about five-times the actual amount. Are you saying that didn't happen either? (I called the front desk, and it was fixed.)

A little off topic but Alan's story of walkin in on some people had me think of one time I was in anaheim staying at a hotel near Disneyland with my wife. I went down in the morning to get some free breakfast and walked back up the stairs to our room. I didn't bring my key so I knock on the door. No answer so I knock a little louder...no answer. So maybe the wife has the hair dryer on? I start pounding on the door. Some gentleman in his 40's opens the door. I immediately see red. I ask him where Sarah is. He says what? I'm about to go crazy thinking some guy got into our room while I went downstairs. He says I have the wrong room and I instantly felt stupid. I looked one door over... Room 224 not 334. I was on the wrong floor. I apologized and felt so stupid, but it was amazing to me how much rage was in my body for about 5 seconds.

That's true love. Many guys would have been more or less relieved their wife had found another man.

Remind us again, what was the "New Year's fiasco"? A real whale you must be to have the executive management team send the casino manager to you. If only we all could get such personal attention. Happy New Year
