After nearly busting out a few weeks ago from going on tilt, I now try to play like a robot and bet no more than 5% of my session bankroll per roll.
Anyone here have the discipline to limit their bet spread to just 1% of their bankroll?

Overall bankroll? Yeah I'm able to stick to 1%. Session bankroll? I'm more like you 5-10%

Deciding what you bet depends on your approach to craps.
1.. if you are a DI with proven advantage, most often they limit their starting bets to
1% of their gambling account. That means if you have saved or set aside or won
$10,000 you can have a starting bet of $100.
There are ups and downs even if you are pretty good, and you need to be able to with stand
those to stay in the game. As you win and reinvest those wins in your gambling account
your starting bet can increase.
If you are a random player just out for some fun, i guess you just set aside what you feel you
can afford. If you are on a trip to Vegas for 4 days and you feel you can spend $2000 , that
is $500 a day and if you want to play 3 sessions a day you have $175 stop loss for each
session. Never ever dig into your pocket during a session.
A starting bet of $5 pass line and double odds and a $6 6 & 8 is all you can afford. Hopefully
at times 6 or 8 is the number.
You see lots of people come to the table, cash in $500 and place it all, that is a choice
you have to make. Its not smart,, but then who said gamblers were smart.

I risk 15% of my $200 session buy-in per roll. That's just me. Some sessions are good, some not. You'll have to find, through experience at live tables, what the answer is for you. I don't know what your experience has been. It's just something each, through experience, has to find for him/herself. Sounds like you went big & now want to dial down. Well, do it. Try it. Maybe at some point you'll want to dial up. As they say, "Experience is the best teacher."

Don't you guys ever give up selling snake oil? I'm surprised the moderators continue to allow such nonsense. Proven advantage my arse.
Cheers.

Now, now, we have to humor those poor, deluded souls.

I thought such sales efforts were to be kept in on "discussion" where those gullible enough to actually buy in to such a concept could sit around in a circle and peck away at it? I don't really care but it's beyond a joke now.

Are you sure? Ahigh seems to have a legion of followers. Especially a masked one who said on ahigh's site that he was getting calls from dice setters all over the country about Ahigh getting barred. LOL
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

Thats right, I forgot about that. The masked guy
said he just won 10 grand in a Vegas session,
piece of cake. Of course not one single person
has ever witnessed these remarkable events
and even Ahigh has questioned the veracity
of the claims.

Wonder if Harley wore his mask to the opening ? It is possible Harley is really Johnny Depp? Has anybody seen Harley and
Johnny Depp at the same dice table ?

Hmm, Johnny Depp was just in a movie with
a masked man. Makes you wonder...
