Is it my imagination or do card craps hands or rolls last longer?

Overnight I was at Rincon which uses a system where a shooter throws two dice, and the dice select two cards, Ace thru 6, one red card and one green card corresponding to the numbers shown on the two dice.

Only my third time playing there. The first time was a short visit and nothing to report.

Second trip I hit the fire bet for 5 numbers. Third trip overnight I hit the fire bet for 4 numbers.

Only one player last night had a PSO, the rest all made at least one pass and had several numbers and hard ways were hitting. Much like the previous trip (second trip).

Of course in this game the dice showed plenty of 6-1, 5-2, 4-3 combinations but those pointed to cards that were hard ways, and passes, and numbers.

So is it my imagination that at card craps your hands or rolls will last longer because the most likely combinations on the dice (numbers that add up to 7) might not be Sevens when the cards are actually flipped over?

Edit: It depends on where you play.

If you play at Viejas, then you can get advantage from playing and or counting. That game can counted to a moderate extent with a CSM. It makes me smile when California's stupid gaming laws can help players. :D I'm shocked they even allow you guys to have RNG-driven (Class III) video poker.

If card craps have a no roll function on suited cards (everywhere but Viejas), then the probability is the same is normal craps.

Yes, Rincon's card craps has the same probability of regular dice craps: six numbered cards have an equal chance of being selected from the throw of each six sided die.

But all those 7s were being thrown and they weren't 7-outs. Really freaky.
