I wasn't rolling, but on Sunday, I decided to liquidate a $50 coupon instead of gambling it. I put the coupon on the pass line, and $25 on the don't. I usually don't worry about the boxcars when liquidating, but I was thinking "should I bet a $1 on the boxcars" and I just kept focusing on the boxcars (I wasn't shooting). Then the dice landed .. both of them .. within inches of my coupon on the boxcars.
Jesus!
Next roll I put the green chip on the pass line and a seven winner saved the day. I was about to have a coronary even though it was only $25 being lost, seeing that coupon say $50 has a psychological factor to it!

Maybe try the offsetting bets the other way around. Say $75 on the don't pass.
Maybe even a deuce on the 12.
