Voted Craps. Because it's fun and it has a relatively low house edge.

Me too. Most mature gamblers, in the experienced sense, play craps, Poker, and Pai Gow.
That is the progression as a gambling market matures.
Older Gambling markets have more dice, Poker, and Pai Gow.
In Missouri, one out of 20 tables are Pai Gow. In Las Vegas and AC, it's one out of 5 at the Cannery Group and Stations.
Did this research as a part of Pai Gow market examination.

I voted for Craps. Blackjack, Craps, and Video Poker are my games. All of them require some active participation and decision-making and have lower house edge than most other games. Baccarat seems too boring, but I might occasionally play around with mini-bacc and/or Pai Gow.

I play a lot of Pai Gow Poker and Craps when available. Pai Gow because it's slow; Craps because it's fun. 3 card / 4 card / let it ride / Carribean are carnival games and I play those only for short sessions (< 45 minutes) when I'm bored.

I don't play BJ. I tried it on my first trip, but really didn't enjoy it.

I typically play 3 card poker, PGP, VP and craps. Sometiems slots, and next time I may try roulette.

No game has the freakin' juice of craps, period, end of story.
No game has the interest, socialibility, and survivability of session than Pai Gow Poker.
No game has the community battle and espionage as poker room poker, though some players are killing this.
BJ is a great intro casino game, the best, but it's a stepping stone.
Wait until Texas Dinero and Hong Kong Poker (Five hole cards, one flop, one turn, one river) get out. Slam-bam show-down like you've never seen.
And full poker both sides Pai Gow Poker is coming. A straight with a three-of-a-kind top, or two pairs with a flush top.
Table games are alive and vibrant, a few sharp games coming...

I picked Hold 'Em (afterall according to Bluff Magazine/ESPN I'm ranked something like 22,000th in the world this year :) ). Would have also picked craps if multiple selections were available. I actually play very very little blackjack, and when I do it's usually Switch.

Like several others, I play almost exclusively craps. I'd play Twist'em if it were in a casino though, and I'm not just saying that because it's my game.

I voted for other. Since I have moved to Vegas, I haven't stepped into a casino to gamble. Once college football season starts I have an inspiring tale I will share in a thread, and I will start posting picks that I make.

On a sidenote, since moving here, I have gone to the casinos many times to eat, or have a drink, or see a show. It is amazing to me (I never noticed this while gambling), how pathetic and detatched the people I see playing are. Now I ain't sayin' that I am at the Wynn on a Saturday night watching the excitement at the craps table, just what I notice at the locals places....perhaps more on this later....

Go is awesome. Can't see how to turn that into a casino game though... lets start working on it. (It is a serious gambling game though in Korea, i understand).

Oh, I picked Craps. Basically I play dice or blackjack. I used to play hold'em in the casinos, but not so much any more. Just an occasional tournament.

Don't get me wrong, I love hold'em, and enjoy playing in home games. I just never seem to have the time to myself to get involved in a cash game at the casino for any length of time. When I go to the casino its usually with friends who don't want to play hold'em, or if they do we never end up at the same table anyway. I may be doing it wrong ;)

Voted for craps and poker, didn't put "other" as I don't consider sports-betting a game. Craps has low edge and lets your money last. Poker you can actually use skill.

Really? I've gotta look into that; sounds fascinating. I can't imagine it as a casino game, either -- too long, slow, and victory is not always immediately clear. But maybe a simplified version on a 9x9 board -- hmmmm ......

The beauty (and misery) of Hold 'em is that you can do everything wrong for hours at a time and win anyway. Poker is not like golf, billiards or tennis where the best player will almost always win in the end every time. The element of luck can bankrupt good players and lure the bad players into the game.

I play Baccarat. There is a cardroom in Seattle that gives me even money match plays on any game every Monday and Friday. If I come back again within 2 days, I get the match play again. Baccarat has a higher match play return than BJ (because you can't double or split the match portion). Also, this cardroom backed me off last week (I probably arose suspicion when I played like 5 hands of Baccarat and immediately went over to BJ). I didn't even play a whole shoe, or ever raise my bet! Anyway, I now play the following Baccarat to try and extract as much money from this cardroom as possible before I get kicked out completely, using the following strategy:

Arrive 10 minutes before the dealers change tables
Obtain and play my match play
Play through two dealer changes (approx 40 minutes of play), switching randomly from player to banker and back, or doing whichever the dealer suggests
Cash out

The 48 hands costs me about $.552 units, and the 5 unit match play is worth 2.397 units, so I get 2.767 units/hr.

I love it. Nothing like making money at a high hourly rate from a place that has backed me off. Btw, each month the match plays are for a different amount. This month it's $50, so 5 units of $10.

I voted Craps because of the low house edge and it is a lot of fun.

I'll play Pai Gow Poker early to get a few "free" drinks in me. It is a fun social game.

I enjoy Let it Ride basically because you have a chance (I know it's slim) of a bigger payday. I'm willing to sacrafice the price for entertainment purposes.

I'll play roulette once in a while for a change of pace.

Video Poker is as close as I'll get to a slot machine. I especially hate those nickel slots!

In all my years of going to Vegas, I've never played Bacarrat. I will try it out when I'm there next week.

This poll needs to be changed to allow voting for multiple options. I personally would have voted for craps, roulette, and other (Caribbean Stud). I think if voting for multiple options was allowed, you'd see a more representative spread.

I agree about allowing multiple options. I voted for craps mainly because it has a lower house advantage. I wouldn't necessarily play craps everytime I didn't feel like playing BJ.

Since the title is what other games you play besides Blackjack, I think everyone responding here plays blackjack and the choices are for their alternative game of choice, although I'd like to see multiple options here as well..

I agree this should have been a poll with multiple options, instead of just one choice...

I play the following games, with reasons attached:

Jacks or Better/Bonus Poker: Prefer 9/6 (8/5BP), but will take 9/5 or 8/6 (7/5BP). I stick to playing at Caesars properties, as I'm a Diamond member, and the points add up much faster than on Table Games. I usually break even, or earn a bunch of points before losing my initial bankroll. This year, I hit a royal at .50 so I'm up on the year.

Spanish 21: It's more fun that BJ, and with proper strategy (where they S17) it has a lower house edge in most cases. Even though it's better to play with more (because of the 7s bonus) I prefer to play alone since the strategy gets others mad at me.

Craps: I go on spurts with this. Lately, I've been playing it, since I can't seem to win at anything else. I've had a couple good sessions, although the bad ones have added up too. Before July, I may have played this twice in the prior year.

Mississippi Stud: I'm actually enjoying this game, but I treat it like a slot machine: if it hits, I get up and run, and if I blow my bankroll, then I'm done. The variance is simply too high to play as a regular game, but I enjoy the entertainment value, and 30 minutes racks up some credits.

Live Poker: This is the game I SHOULD stick to, as my hourly take is right around $1, long-term. I love Omaha, and am pretty good at it. I don't give myself enough credit for my Hold Em skills... I'm no pro at either of them, but I have the appropriate skills to make most 8-hour sessions profitable. I do NOT play tournaments unless they are paid for (i.e. voucher)

S&H Green Stamps (slot): I only play slots when I have Free Play that can't be used on VP. This year, I hit $1200 on a coupon, so I'm up regardless. As a result, I do play one slot machine with my own money when I can find it: Green Stamps. I love the song they sing, it makes me smile, so I play it. I try to do this only at Caesars to rack up credits. I don't play to win, I play to have fun.

Ultimate Texas Holdem: I like this game; a lot, actually. I haven't played it in a while, but I could play that game all day if I had all the money in the world.

Pai Gow Poker: Also a fun game, although this one has been killing me lately. I like to play two hands if I can't bank, so that may make the bankroll drain faster. Otherwise, it goes too slow for me.

Pai Gow Tiles: I'm finally getting to the point where I know how to set everything, and this makes it so much more fun. The money lasts longer (usually), although you don't get jack in comps/credits for playing it. That's okay, though; that's why I get VP play in.

I only play games where a player edge exists, either by card counting or a hole card game. Occasionally a little VP, but the one I play has a return of 100.1% payback with cashback. You will NEVER see me play slots, roulette, or craps.

At one time, roulette enabled the player to get the highest edge of all. To this day, highly skill experts can still occasionally gain a high edge on certain wheels that makes the edge available at certain card games appear quite puny. (This should not be confused with a roulette system, since the gaming device is being exploited, rather than the game.)

The 'wheel watchers' in Europe back during the 70s and 80s were winning more than the card counters in Europe were during the same period. George Melas, chief wheel design engineer at TCS Huxley , admits that the 'wheel watchers' have forced manufactures to redesign the wheels.

Pai Gow Poker is by far the most fun table game IMO.

I am not really a fan of EZ Pai Gow, but I will still play it if a regular table isn’t available. I’d rather pay a commission than push a good hand on Queen High Pai Gow
