I searched to see if there were any existing threads on this but didn't see any.

Summary: Kids buy a computer unnecessarily done up to look like a mannequin. Use real time video to send card values back to computer. Computer gives them running count (but not true count for some reason). Kid bets $500 when running count hits +18 at Binion's. Kids post video to YouTube of them using computer to count cards.

I really hope they weren't actually using a computer and just had a kid randomly bet $500 and pretend like they were using a computer.

I haven't seen this channel before so no idea of this is actually real, but if so, this was very illegal and I think the gaming commission would like to have a word with them.

It’s a one off and I doubt they will ever come back as it would be stupid since they have casino workers on camera and it would be trivial for Binion’s to pull the tape for the shift. I don’t think Gaming would try to chase them though, although I hope none of them were dumb enough to play with players cards.

I agree with heatmap.

The wonger didn't bet $500... Looks more like $250.

I also noticed the wonger say, "I have 17; the dealer's showing 12." In fact, the dealer was showing a deuce: to show 12, the game would have to be double exposure.

Also, isn't Binion's all 6:5 on BJ? Seems like a really bad choice of location.

I suspect the whole video is a prank. Seems like a LOT of effort and more importantly potential criminal liability just to win $250.
