The Ace/Five count is the simplest of all card counting systems, however it promises the lowest player advantage.
The Hi/Lo beats the Ace/Five but requires a bit more alertness
And many other systems beat the ace five and hi/lo by a little percentage what is the best?
1)A system that includes knowing basic strategy, deck penetration, shuffle tracking and basic strategy exceptions when the count is a certain number
What if you could count every single card? lets face it a 6 is worse for the player than a 2,yet they count for the same number in your count which is plus 1.If you could some how use a system that involves ALL cards (of course high cards other than the ace will always have the same value. You would assign a different value to each cards other than high cards or aces.
OR
Hypotheticly you can remember every single card dealt, use basic strategy to a 100%(unless an exception),figure out the true count, shuffle track and deck penetration could there be such a system that counts each cards and adjusts the basic strategy table based on those cards dealt?

Ace-Five has conditions like S17 DA2 DAS with either LS or RSA or both. Hi/Lo has basically no restrictions outside of 6/5 or certain ties go to Dealer.
With Hi/Lo your returns decrease with an advantage... A-5 goes House Advantage if the game is H17, and is not recommended. So one has to pick and choose carefully with A-5. JMH2c

Some people need to reimagine their thinking.
