I have calculated house edge to be 0.766%, in good agreement with your value. My calculation is a hybrid - its a cross between 6 decks and infinite deck.

Can you extend this calculation to a game of Stand-17 and no pair re-splitting? What is the new basic strategy? Wizard's website does not list this version of Down Under Blackjack. This game is very popular now in casinos.

How do I delete a post here? I just can not find the button for it.

Essentially, you don't. However, you can edit out whatever you have posted if you have done it by mistake. I'd usually state a reason for the edit as going through and just deleting posts could be frowned upon if done gratuitously.

Let me ask this again. What is the difference in the basic strategy if the game is changed from Hit-17 to Stand-17?

I don't know if this is the official way, but a lot of people just edit their post with something like "deleted" or "post deleted" .
Note: sometimes they give a reason for it, eg. "posted to wrong thread" or "duplicate post"

Edit: You usually have to edit the post within a certain amount of time (i think it is less than 24 hours)

You seem to be asking me. My Down Under Spreadsheets are stored on a separate memory unit that I will need to retrieve. And frankly, changing the dealer's actions from H17 to Stand 17 is not a simple toggle switch. I will try to take a look at it later this week.
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

Very nice of you! Yes, the question is for you because I noticed you had this discussion with the Wizard. Here it is.

Suppose we have a regular 6-deck blackjack game with Double on any 2, Split to 4, DAS, and No Surrender rules.
For a Hit-17 Blackjack, the critical strategies are: 11vs A Double, A,7 vs 2 Double, A,8 vs 6 Double, and the house edge is 0.62%.

For a Stand-17 Blackjack, the critical strategies are: 11vs A Hit, A,7 vs 2 Stand, A,8 vs 6: Stand, and the house edge is 0.40%. However, if re-splitting is not allowed, then the house edge becomes 0.46%.

What are these numbers for a Stand-17 Down Under Blackjack? The Wizard only listed the Hit-17 version on his website, but knowing these numbers are good for developing a counting system for this blackjack variant. Thank you in advance.
