It's hard to believe people are really gullible enough to believe stuff like this!!

Sorry billyran I'm not sure what you are asking. I would think anyone who was interested enough in blackjack to watch a video like this would also research reliable sources and see what a load of horse crap this guy is selling or maybe at this point giving away.
Comment: "So you discredit the MIT blackjack team?"
REPLY
Yes I do, it's all 100% nonsense in the extreme, first of all there are virtually no tables whatsoever to count cards on as all are shoes with the deck cut in half. Second of all when there are more face cards in the deck the dealer has an equal chance as you to get a 20 or 21. The idea that you have an advantage by getting a 21 is absurd since that rarely ever happens to begin with. Also if you were to count cards the dealer would see what you're doing very easily and quickly by you upping your bets as the deck dwindles down and you would be caught quickly and easily. Everything you're hearing about the MIT blackjack team is made up nonsense, just as everything you hear from TV and the Media is made up nonsense, the whole point is to put you into a world of illusion and stupidity in order to not only control you but also to send you on the wrong path in life, and they do this with virtually everything, like going to college for instance and having a 150,000 debt. This is the way everything is on a quantum level, it's called The Matrix......"
That escalated quickly towards the end ^_^" I hope he is knowingly just trying to see how far he can push his trolling with people still buying it.
But hey, 327 millions Americans, with the variance in IQ this is to be expected I guess..

Yes there are but this is about the worst I've seen. Discrediting card counting and basic strategy.
Most of them do that, but a bit more subtly... as they know in the end the math proves everything. This guys "catch all" seems to be you can't use a simulation because it's a program and programmers are biased so the results are meaningless. Basically, he's taking trumps approach. Anything that doesn't fit his agenda is "fake news." The comments are literally just this psychopath making 100 different youtube accounts and commenting and praising himself over and over.Quote: Mikey75Yes there are but this is about the worst I've seen. I wonder what he'll think of my 3 articles I linked in the comments section...

If CC'ing and BS didn't work, us players would've said so many years ago. And casinos wouldn't kick them out.

I sat down a few hands in and started playing $25 bet with no side bet(King's Bounty) or progressive bet. The guy at first base played both side bets at $5 a pop and $50-$100 on his hand. About 4 hands in, he got a 7 of Diamonds, I got a 7 of Diamonds and the Dealer got a 7 D.
Everything slowed down in anticipation of the next card being dealt and I was rooting for the guy to get the Jackpot. Alas, his next card was an 8 Clubs... bummer!
My card, a 6 D!!! Close but no cigar!! Not that I cared or wanted a 7. So we played the hand out, he busted an I won and we just shook our heads at how close we both came to getting the big hand.
The dealer then blurted out "If he wasn't playing, you would've hit the Jackpot!" I balked at the statement, but the other guy all of a sudden got real wide eyed and said "You're right! If he hadn't jumped in, I woulda had the 7's!"
I replied "Not really, because I would have had to jumped out that exact hand before it was dealt for you to get it. If I didn't play the prior 3 hands, it wouldn't have been set up like that."
He kept complaining "No, cuz all those cards would've come out exactly the same and I woulda got the 3 Sevens on the 4th hand!"
I said "Not necessarily, you could have pulled one or two of them on the hand before, thus having the same result."
He continued to disagree and tell his wife how I cost him 436k in Arabic. I colored in and jokingly said "Well it would've only been like 220k after taxes, so no biggie!"
Needless to say, he was not laughing.

I just read the title of that video. Didn't watch it (yet) and haven't read none of these posts.... but here are my predictions.
1. Person will be wearing a suit, likely a cheesy one that he thinks is nice.
2. His system is easy, anyone can do it, it only takes a little bit of memorizing.
3. His system can't be found anywhere else, he's the only one who knows about it (or there are only very few people using it or who know about it).
4. One important part of his system is to not be greedy.
5. Also, something about "no drinking, we're here to work".
6. He'll use some mathematical formula or theory that exists in the natural world but shouldn't be applied to gambling (fibonacci sequence, 2.718, 3.14159, etc.).
7. He'll spend an inordinate amount of time NOT explaining his system, beating around the bush (kinda like some infomercials, where the first 5 minutes are, "Wouldn't you like to be fit & slim without working out and eating all the food you want? Wouldn't you like it if you didn't have to worry about money for the rest of your life? What about making and maintaining strong relationships you'll keep forever? Shortly, we'll show you our secret system to a better life, but first, let's hear from 10 paid actors who swear this system benefited them, before we tell you how big of a scam this commercial is!")
8. If he plays out blackjack hands in the video, he'll make a mistake somewhere -- He won't bet according to his betting pattern, he'll hit/stand/double/etc. when he's not supposed to (according to his system, not basic strategy), he'll pay/push/take a bet that shouldn't have been (ie: paying 18 vs 18), or something like that.
9. 25% chance he won't mention things like 6:5 BJ should be avoided.
10. He'll say he's been banned from casinos for using this method.
11. Something about "basic strategy and/or card-counting is a scam developed by the casinos to take more of your money".
12. Unnecessary picture or video of piles of money.
EDIT:
I'm gonna start watching it, I'll update below which one of those I got right.
0:51 : #11 "why basic strategy and card counting does not work"
Son of a B*****, I forgot to say "he's going to use some totally wrong math"....2:03 "player can bust, dealer can bust, both have a 50/50 chance."
And it will surely sell seminars/videos on youtube.

ROFL!! You are spot on!!
I haven't seen such bad dealing since I've been to a North Las Vegas casino...
I see nothing wrong with that.
Lots of people don’t understand math.
Just go to any craps forum, where you hear this on a regular basis: the odds are a horrible bet because you have to roll that number twice.
Or this one: if you hit and run, you will be a winner because (x).

This guy is an obvious scammer just trying to milk suckers in various fields.....
How could you make it that far? They should use that video as torture.Quote: noy2222I watched about 40 minutes of this video.
