Sorry if I missed anything, but I was just wondering if anyone could work out some form of basic strategy for this form of the game.
Thanks for the help
Can you surrender ever?
ASSUMING 6D... Base (before non standard rules) is -.43%
5 card charlie = +1.46%
Any 21 paid instantly = +.54%
Double on 3rd card = ~.15% (double on any number of cards is .23%, I don't have my metric for 3rd card only but this has to be about right)
Dealer Push 22 = -6.91%
Thus, revised House Edge = 1.46 + .54 + .15 - .43 - 6.91 = 5.19%
You might as well be playing Roulette at 5.26%. The basic strategy for this game is DON'T PLAY IT.

Obviously I don't know if switch has an agreement for them to use the Push 22 rule, but also noticed there was another game which had a very close resemblance to One for the Money ( poker war https://www.crownmelbourne.com.au/getmedia/19730874-38b6-4c9c-894d-c5361bca4e21/151204-Crown-Melbourne-Gaming-Poker-War-Learn-to-Play.pdf.aspx )
Their rules seem to have been approved by https://www.vcglr.vic.gov.au/contact-us , so perhaps they need to informed if there have been any violations.

Thanks Chester (and Charlie for messaging me).
Yes, Crown have taken the Push 22 idea from me and, due to limited funds when i started, I didn't apply for a patent in Australia. Furthermore, the game that it has been used on has an extremely high house edge, so the players are faced with a vastly inferior game offering poor odds to their customers.
Quote: charliepatrickThe Crown list all their variants in their rules - there's a lot of them! I should avoid all the variants and stick to standard Blackjack (and ensure it pays 3 to 2 not 6 to 5).

Poker War is One for the Money, distibuted to them by SHFL and with my permission, about 18 months now there. I really like their graphics and presentation on it, and it might work well with the GoT crowd here.
Really sorry they're using Switch ' s IP without permission on a bad game, though. :(

Not trying to be an ass, but if you don't hold the patent, do they need to get your consent? I have no idea how these things work and am asking to get a better understanding.

It's a slightly more complex situation. We showed another casino 'Blackjack Switch' and although they didn't place the game they obviously liked the 'Push 22' concept. If they had placed 'Switch' then they would have paid for it but as there is no patent in Australia for 'Push 22' they created their own game using that rule. It's just a shame that they use 'Push 22' on such a high-edge game as my games all have a reasonable house edge to them (3/2 versions at least).
