The Rio doesn't allow you to play multiple hands of FB BJ. Is this common? What is the reasoning behind such a rule?

This is just speculation but here are a few reasons
1. playing 2 hands lower your variance
2. freebet blackjack has a even lower variance than normal blackjack since you don't have to pay for doubles and splits.
