Hi guys, I just stumbled on this site which is called "The TRUTH about basic strategy" by a guy named Boris. He said that basic strategy is wrong and how we should not split 88 against dealer up cards of 9,T,A and not split aces. In my honest opinion, I find his "theories" on why basic strategy is wrong is total bull. Anyone agree? Is he a total nutcase? Or are there things that I should be more aware of next time I head to the BJ tables?

I cannot believe it is wrong to double 11 vs 9 (you even double 10 vs 9 most times!) I guess his assumptions are based on looking at some kind of clumping and finding by simulation that some normal strategies don't work.
If you continue reading the pages you'll find he will sell you his simulation software. Thus if his code or RNG weren't 100% accurate the results could be suffering from repeats or to do with the clumping algorithm.
I don't think he's a "nutcase" but I also won't be altering my strategy.
