Gambling should either be fun, a job in the industry, or making money from gambling. Only you know how long your "recreational" gambling might remain a serious part of your life. There are also some people who disapprove of gambling, so there's always that risk at a job interview.
Nevertheless if you google "blackjack tattoos" there are some interesting designs - most of them seem to have an Ace Jack Blackjack, but I like the idea of being subtle and having something less obvious. btw 65 may be taken as the age one retires and 88 might be considered "two fat ladies" from bingo. On that front A A would seem to be the best option (it is also the best poker Hold 'Em starting hand).
Best of luck with whatever choice you make.
Or my FAVORITE hand ever: A-7-8 [versus dealer Ten].
I think you'll regret it. Perhaps you should think about it for ten years. If you still want one ten years from now, repeat.
Quote: surrender88sUp to you. Get a full back tattoo of a table layout and the dealer getting a 7 card 21. Your hand is a doubled down 11, which becane a 20, and a lot of chips out. Add a smiling pit boss in the corner.
That's messed up, man.
If I were to get a blackjack tattoo, I would have a pair of 8s against a 10 - with the 8s split and two face-down cards on top of them. The words with them - probably "No Guts, No Glory" or "What Are You Made Of?"
Unless you are ok with being perceived the wrong way, AA is a better bet in that standpoint
Quote: ajemeisterStrongly recommend against any tattoo having "88" in it. "88" is/was a big theme in tattoos for white power where each 8 stands for the 8th letter of the alphabet which translates to "HH" or "Heil Hitler" in white supremacist groups.

Didn't even think about it - especially with my bald head and pasty-white skin, people will get the wrong idea about me (a VERY wrong idea since I had a friend who once looked at me almost mouth agape and remarked, "You are REALLY not a racist person." He forgets, of course, that I tend to hate everyone equally.)
What if the 8s are split into two separate hands like two mystery cards as I described above? As if to make it more clear that they're actual blackjack hands and not a representation of admiring a total whack job?
Quote: hailtotheskinsHey guys, first post here. Ive been lurking for a lil while and I'm a big fan of WoO. I really enjoy small stakes recreational gambling and want to get a funny/dumb/witty small blackjack tattoo. So far my ideas are a 6 and a 5 (haven't decided suit) with the words "Double Your Pleasure"; a pair of eights or aces with "Split Me Baby, One More Time"; or some stiff hand with "I'd Hit That". The last one is my least favorite. Any thoughts?
(large bet)
16 vs picture
"Story of My Life"
A line that I hear a lot of players say is, "stay and pray."
Maybe a hand like 2,3 or something bizarrely incorrect to stand on with the caption "Stay and Pray"

If I were going with the 2, 3, my tagline world read, "I also like to live dangerously."

Save a little room for "Cards are not my bag, baby"

Tattoos are too permanent for me, personally, but go for it. YOLO.
You seem to want a tattoo that says something about both women and cards, maybe a tattoo something like the photo below, with "I'd split THOSE tens!"
Needs to be a woman's body with really good legs, not just the lower half (she's a "10" - her legs are "10"s). In my head, the woman was seen full-length from the rear, looking back over her shoulder, kind of like Betty Grable (google her). Straight legs, either together or shoulder-width; long hair that curls down to cover her crack, but otherwise nude (except for thigh-high stockings or tattoos -NOT LEGGINGS- and heels) so you won't get kicked out of a public venue shirtless.
Or not. It's your body, and tattoos are forever.
