I was reading up on Speed Count today. I don't want to sift though pages and pages of information and hype. Can anyoune tell me what the exact EV is with this counting system? (I'm going to guess + .2 %.)

I think the Wiz said it was almost as accomplished as his 'Aces and Fives', but I don't remember the exact math. The Wiz didn't sound overly impressed.
I think that's a dozen posts today (yes, I broke a couple into multiple posts). I'm slowly closing in on EvenBob.....

in Beat BJ Now
the data is in chpt 18 starting on page 129 (in my google play)
there are only a few tables of data

edges go from .1% to .6%
but it depends if you can find some of these games too
(edges are simulated so be careful where you step, i say)

maybe one makes more real $$$$ at .2% than .6% because the games are easy to find and play

Sally

the e-book is easy to find too
yes I bought me copy

I think that dude posts in his sleep...the only time he has ever slowed down was a brief pause or two when reaching a certain number (I think he paused at 14,999 or something like that) and some time off he took when he was wrong about the last election. He is a steady poster, stays within the rules, and posts about most subjects.

He is a posting machine...you'll have to work long and hard to catch him. Of course, I know you are kidding!!

The only thing he does not respond to is questions about how he plays roulette. I'd like that info...since he has said he wins!

Your edge depends on how big or a ramp you have. The bigger the spread the bigger the edge, although it's not linear.

It's only positive if you stick to it. If I was a betting man, I'd bet someone we know doesn't stick to it once things start going bad. Was it Mike Tyson that said, "Everybody has a plan until you get punched in the face"? I love that. Best quote from MT ever.

Obviously, the advantage would depend on the rules, # of decks, etc., but is there a basic rule of thumb % about how much less advantage one would have vs high low?
