The short version of the question - is there any place that deals specifically with card counting in the UK (ie no hole card, insurance only offered when player has blackjack etc), as the variations in the strategy tables to standard US blackjack (doubling/splitting vs 10/A mostly) seem to suggest that a few of the top value plays in the Illustrious 18 would be worth less (or would require higher counts).
Essentially I'm wondering how much value a card counter in a standard UK game (no hole card, stand on 17, unlimited splits and double after split allowed) compared with the amounts quoted for US blackjack.
Sorry if this is a bit disjointed, I'm a little frazzled :)

If you are looking for website that deals primarily with non-US BJ (like specialising in UK) I have never seen one (at least a good one).
But in here and in other good websites (like BJ21) you will find plenty of info of how to deal with non-US BJ.
The differences are in any case small. Like the Illustrous 18, most are the same.
By definition only differences relate to when the dealer has 10 or A. And the I18 is just a reccomended amount. It does not really make a big diiference if you know a couple less or a couple more. I think there is somewhere a reference of the top indeces in ENHC game. But even if you cannot find it, use the US game ones, remove the ones that relate to 10,A and replace them with some other good ones that relate to ENHC and have 10,A.
My approach with indces is that I have written down like in a Basic Strategy table all indeces between -1 and + 6 (around 50) and over time I kind of learned around 30 by heart and the other 20 kind of remember.
Some indeces there are patterns that you can use to remember them.
Like 8 v 4,5,6 are 5,3,1
And for A8 v 3,4,5,6 are 5,3,1,1
Once you memorise the index for 8 you can also remember the one for A8 from the same pattern.
