As stated in my trip report for this past weekend...the following happened


6decks
70% penetration

Dealer dealt herself 10 blackjacks in 1/2 shoe
(I pushed on one of these)

What is the probability of this happening in any given 1/2 shoe?

It's just one of those things. You can play
roulette for 20 sessions and never see a
zero. Then all of a sudden, 8 zeros come
up in 13 spins. Or you go from table to
table and the zeros follow you around.

First question needed to help answer this: How many players at the table? The more there were, the less likely it would happen.

And does half shoe mean about 35% of the deck dealt in this case?

Even with this needed info, I don't think I am equipped to solve this easily. Needs to be simulated.
