Flea, you are close to being suspended for heresy. Dan Lubin has stated many times the dealers NEVER talk about players.

That is why I know I am physic. Must have been using mental telepathy when I was in the break room or on the bus down from the hill.

Charles, don't misquote me. [And try to temper your excessive interest in me; it's a bit fruity.]

I stated that dealers will routinely discuss players to workers, both to give a heads-up warning to supervisors, and to advise other dealers what to expect from certain players on the property. Totally routine, and informing management and co-workers of situations with players IS a mandatory part of the job. Doesn't matter how any player feels about it. For that matter, you're on camera, too.

I also stated that dealers aren't allowed to discuss players' personal matters with other players (examples: "Your brother-in-law hit a royal at this table, and he just colored up over $1,000 - so if he tells you he's broke, then he's LYING!", or, "Yes, Mrs. Smith, I did see your husband on property here, now that you ask. He's at Hotel registration, getting a room for him and his girlfriend...." etc.) That you won't hear, and won't be told if you ask.

I'm primarily a poker player, so I HAVE had a BJ dealer tell me to stop bending the cards like in the video at a double-deck game (as if I was really doing some serious damage to them). He actually called the floor to complain that I was an asshole who refused to stop bending the cards. Floor told me "this isn't a poker room, stop bending the cards". I did, but the dealer was such a prick I kept pushing his buttons and stopped tipping his dumb ass.

Few dealers are 100% professional all the time, even if (regardless of) their employment at a casino.
Expect a mixed bag on both sides of the table.

And yes, I'll be dressing as the cocktail waitress - hahahah Anyway, take care, talk to you later.

Actually the dealer is right.. You may not have thought you were doing anything, but poker cards are much stronger and built to be bend.. They even reuse the deck for several shifts.. Pit cards are total junk by comparison and a little bending can turn them to shit in a hurry..that's why they change the cards every four hours..
