Quote: BhappyI will do even better than that. I am an active volunteer for Smoke Free Work Place. I am your worst enemy. Get this in your head - Kevin doesn't want smokers to ruin his property. He has to me smarter than you. He was able to raise more than $2 billion. When was the last time some one loaned you $10?
I'm not sure when the last time someone loaned him $10 was, but I'm certain it was paid back without any problems.
Played 8 hands
Blackjack plus 3 double downs
+600
Trip is +2100

Actually if you knew me, you would know the Non-Smoking is one of the things, OK the only thing, I like about Revel. If you also knew more about me you would know I own a bar & restaurant that was one of the first in PA to be non-smoking and I advertised it as such before the ban in 2009. And if you knew me even more, I could show you the loans I have and still owe that allowed me to expand my business to make it the success it is today.
But you dont know me, just like I dont know you, but I do know you are in the minority in your constant shilling for Kevin and Revel. Numbers dont lie and Revels numbers show the attitude you have shown on here is the reason why the place is failing.
And according to your way on measuring someones intelligence level, Bernie Madoff has contributed more to the world than Einstein ever did if getting money from people is the criteria. So I would hope you move beyond questioning my intelligence level and education, or at least, please dont compare me from a business success standpoint to your buddy Kevin.

" Read the ad. They stand up in the seminar with a slide that claims “70 to 95 percent of the positive edge of professional systems such as High-Low.” They claim “you could learn and apply this new method in the casino after only two days of practice!.” They claim “you’ll get that great power in virtually all games, with none of the drawbacks!”
I'm really bothered by claims that beating casinos is easy. Everyone here has the experience to know you can't become an advantage player in two days. Or two weeks or two months. Fact is, Speed Count has a ridiculously high risk of ruin. I believe most people would be better off using Basic Strategy. But if they are going to use it – they should at least be informed of the real numbers. Speed Count is a scam. '

I am not that brave. I will be sick, and throw up.
Good Luck.
Comments by Michael Shackleford:
"The authors of Speed Count were kind enough to share their strategy with me. While I can't explain the concept in detail I can say it bridges the jump from basic strategy to conventional card counting. Speed Count is appropriate for the basic strategy player who wishes to gain an advantage with less effort than conventional hi-low card counting. Built in camouflage I believe will help the Speed Counter confuse counter-catchers and thus buy more bet variation. That will roughly compensate for lost accuracy relative to a hi-low count. Although I have not personally verified the claims of Speed Count I have looked at simulation results provided to me by Dan Pronovost and believe they are trustworthy. So if you are a basic strategy player ready to take the next step, or have tried a hi-low count and found it too difficult, then the Speed Count may be just what you're looking for to start winning at blackjack."

I play what I call 'Speed Count light' ... and I feel it is better than simply playing Basic Strategy. Speed Count teaches the basic reality that anyone who plays BJ learns rather quickly... When the small cards come out, the face cards will soon follow. As such, bets should be adjusted. If you simply follow that simple premise, you are going to play - to some degree or another - at a better advantage than by simply playing Basic Strategy alone.
Trip is negative 1k

I agree with the above. But Speed Count is a piss poor substitute for a real count. I just have trouble understanding why a man who
can write an 18,000 word brief in defending his client, then goes to a BJ table with such an inferior counting system to protect his own
bankroll ? WTF

At this risk of making plans in the forum, strictlyAP - where are you at? I should be done with dinner around 8pm then will be heading to the tables here at Revel....as for chaunceyb?
Also, did we find out the screen name of the lurker who knew us at PGT Revel last night? He was fun to have at the table.
