While playing a 25 cent game of video blackjack in downtown Reno, I was dealt a hard 8 (6 + 2); the dealer's up card was 5. I hit and received another 6, for a total of 14. I stood.
The dealer hit the 5, receiving 4, 2, A, A, and 2 for a total of 15. I thought that in any blackjack game the dealer must always hit a 15 no matter what, but that's not what happened: the dealer stood on 15, and I lost the bet. I was shocked!
Does the 6 Card Charlie rule apply to dealers as well as players?

In some forms of Video BJ they do. I've noticed it on the rule screen before. It probably makes little difference in the house edge though.
