Quote: debitncreditI go up to Oklahoma to play BJ sometimes on days that certain casinos don't have the dreadful "ante"s. I saw this in one casino. Their single deck game is usually a 6-to-5 game ($5 or $10 min), but they had a $3 minimum single deck pitch game. It pays $3.50 for BJ on a $3 minimum bet, making it even worse than 6-to-5, but better than even money BJ. Just thought I'd share that I saw such a weird game, like I'd tell people if I saw a money in a coat at IKEA.
Does it pay $6 on a $5 bet? Is the issue just that the don't have dimes, or are they actively trying to make it a 7:6 payout?
Quote: rdw4potusSad that they understand that fewer decks is good, but not that higher odds on BJ is good...
It's Oklahoma, they are never offering 3 to 2 single deck. Hell Missouri will never offer 3 to 2 single deck either. :P Still better than whatever stupid ante rule that exists at many Oklahoma casinos.

It's pretty common at a 6:5 table where they penalize the low-rollers.
I recall a $3 table and I think the best BJ payoff was 4:3 if you bet $3 and then it gets worse like 5:4, 6:5. 7:6, etc.
Eventually the Oklahoma indian casinos are going to make you pay them 3:2 on a blackjack instead of the other way around.
