So for academic sake, lets say we have a hypothetical double deck. 50-65% Pen, Das, S17, nrsa, 3-2 and double any two. In this classroom setting we have knowledge of the bottom card every time before cutting. So we can cut in high cards X,A and cut out low cards 2-6. On 7-9 we just randomly cut. I have two questions
We will be using Hi-lo lite with full indices. We will be playing heads up in this simulation.
1) What is the effect of this assuming we use a 1-2 spread? Would this single card enable us to beat the game flat betting?
2) Is the Eor of taking out a five the same as adding in a card? How would this effect playing strategy? Taking out a low card I would assume would start the count at +1? If I add in a negative card I know that the deck is now at -1 but this should be an advantage to me playing in a more negative shoe so would I start the count out at +1 either way? Thank you in advance.

" 1) What is the effect of this assuming we use a 1-2 spread?" SERIOUSLY ? 1-2 !
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

He said "for academic sake". A lot of work in academia is not practical. *cue tenure thread*
