Current blackjack conditions at The Meadows (PA)
Great rules! All games 3:2; All S17; $5 min table available.
Lots of tables, most $10min. Also a few $15 tables, $25 tables, and one $5 table. I did not go in the high limit room.
All 6 deckers, S17, DOA, DAS, Late surrender, cannot hit or re-split Aces, blackjack 3:2.
Penetration varied. 75% seemed to be the standard (per notches cut in the shoe). I noticed a few sloppy dealers miss the notches and cut as little as one deck, or as much as 2 decks.
Way, way better than Wheeling Island. Well worth the extra 20-30 minute drive from Ohio.

Do they still have CSMs on virtually all their under-$25 tables, though? I haven't been in a while, but I remember seeing that last time I was there.

I did see a few CSM's. Shoe games easily outnumber the CSM's.

Also, the $5 table was a shoe game, not CSM.

Unless they changed it, PA law standardizes BJ rules. The only differences you will see is shoe/CSM, penetration, and minimums.
Sadly, PA allowed the CSMs after they started requiring games be shoe-dealt.

Agreed. Cannery owns the casino, though it's not linked to their other properties in Vegas (Heck, their Vegas properties aren't even linked). There's no discernible theme, but there doesn't have to be in PA. It's a very nice casino and I've experienced good service many times there. Of course, a lot of the dealers were from Wheeling Island, and they probably had the fastest dealers in the state when they opened as a result.

I'm here in the lobby of the poker room right now. There is a concer here tonight and aparantly people are griping because they are covering the windows lest people catch a glimpse of the act for free.
