Quote: only1choiceThat is so great! You friend makes a nice hit, hopefully it comes over to you.
From your lips to the blackjack gods' ears!
Quote: winmonkeyspit3Picture isn't loading in my browser, but what a nice hit! Hope he dropped some change for the boys.
He is a generous guy so I am sure he definitely shared the wealth.
Those were some lucky ladies!

I think I missed this as well...is this wishful thinking by you on my behalf?

Thank you only1choice - I am taking this week off and might go next weekend...I will certainly let the board know if I do as I will need all the good luck mojo I can muster!
This is a true story.
On April 16 whatever could happen happened playing BJ.
When the dust cleared I had my worst loss in 30 years, $25,000
Even though this was part of my bankroll it didn't make it any easier to take.
When I got home that night I told my wife and she only said one thing, I know you will get them tomorrow.
On some other occasions I have made comebacks but nothing like this.
On April 17 I did no wrong. I started with a $2000 stake $100 starting bet.
When I stopped I was betting between $750 and $3000 per hand.
What was amazing was that it was a little slow, so I had the pit boss, my floor person, and two other floor people watching.
I won $27,000 in a little over 4 hours.
Good Luck next week.

WOW WOW WOW - great comeback - and all within 24 hours - wouldn't it be amazing if we didn't have to make such comebacks, but rather, hit the big win first and leave...
Quote: IbeatyouracesAs a side note, I got 2 Qh's with a dealer bj on the very first hand of a shoe a few months ago. Unfortunately for me the casino doesn't have the bet and obviously the count wasn't high enough to bet it anyway.
I've seen the 2 Qhs hit with a blackjack twice... both on 21+3 tables in casinos that ALSO offered the Lucky Ladies bet (Ameristar St Charles and HSI).
My favorite story is at the Par-a-dice in East Peoria. They didn't offer the bet at the time, but I saw in a 6-deck shoe the same person got Qh-Qh BACK-TO-BACK in the same shoe. Talk about quite a hit...
Quote: IbeatyouracesNot Lucky Ladies related but long ago at Motorcity, on an ace split, I had all 6 aces of spades in my 4 hands when it was just a 6 deck game. And if you know your blackjack, thats 6 aces of spades in only 8 cards!
Horseshoe Council Bluffs has a side bet where that hand would pay 20,000 to 1 (not kidding those are the odds). That was also the jackpot hand on Progressive BJ.
Quote: aceofspadesI need a big win but refuse to play side bets - the EV is just wayyyyyyyyyy too negative
Roll some Dice......

Well, I am going this weekend so please send me positive thoughts
