I used to play craps exclusively, but I eventually got sick and tired of several losses followed by a large win to come ALMOST back to even, then a bunch of losses, then another win. Couldn't take the roller coaster.

For the last six weeks or so I've moved into playing a lot more Blackjack, almost exclusively. I've lost track on how much I'm ahead since I started, but it must be well above $1000. My first five sessions--which consisted of one shoe or less--I won $100 or slightly more each. Then the sixth through tenth sessions moved ahead a few hundred more. Then started to lose track.

I was on vacation this past week, and here's how it played out. A session is from the time I sit down on a game, to the time I color up. Usually play half dozen sessions or so per night. Started with $250 Friday, played a few sessions, and lost $135. Went back later that night and won $140. About even. Saturday lost $100 first session, back to even next session, ahead the next session. Can't remember exactly how it played out, but by the time I finished Saturday, was at $500 (with just $450 cash after buying some drinks).

Sunday went to another casino, played a couple sessions, got ahead another $100 (now have $550). Went back later, and things nose dived a little bit. Played several sessions and lost over $300 (some money gone from drinks again). My bankroll is back down to $200. After that night I thought for sure this was the start of my inevitable decline, since I don't count, I simply use a betting progression.

Monday, I lost $100 right away, but with the last $100, got back to $300. Next session went from $300 to $500. Then next session up to $600. After another session and some craps, I got back $500 and left. Tuesday, went and played one quick session and got ahead $100, then left. Stopped at another casino, lost $100 right away. Then got it back on next session, then got ahead another $100, then a break even session, then ahead another hundred. So over the course of just a few days, I went from $250 to over $850.

I've decided that from now on, any winning session I'll keep half of the win, and the other half goes to the bankroll. It would be awesome if this trend could continue for a few months, but I know that inevitably I will lose my bankroll. I just find it strange that I've been able to win so frequently. The worst session was the $300 one on Sunday night. But overall it seems I have a winning session 2/3 of the time.

I feel like I'm in the extreme when it comes to positive variance, that perhaps there's less than a 1% chance of this happening. So how many of you guys have experienced this? What has been your longest winning streak?

5 years and counting? LOL...
Seriously, I think I've got way more Royal's than I'm supposed to have...couple that with rolling a 104 roll hand at craps...
Strange events...first night I "seriously" played vP I hit two 25c royals in two days..
First day I "seriously" played 50c vP, I hit a royal...
Of course, the first day I "seriously" played $ vP, I did not hit a royal, however I did hit 9-K straight flush!
