Iron Cross to Across

I know this will probably get alot of grief but it has been very successful for me. Starting with 100 dollars a shooter place 5 6 8 for 25 30 30 then a 15 field working from comeout. Every roll besides a 7 will pay at minimum 15 dollars or maximum 45 dollars. At 3 rolls i have made a minimum of 45 dollars or maximum of 135 dollars. Now I will regress to 32 Across collecting 68 more dollars off the table to bring me to a minimum of 113 dollars or maximum of 203 dollars for a profit of 13 dollars minimum or 103 dollars maximum and I still have 32 across working which I can press up and potentially bring more profits in. Now is this the greatest strategy in the world?? Heavens no but one thing that I wish I would have learned sooner is some profit is better than no profit at all..

1) hopefully the 12 Field pays Triple
2) hopefully you pay the vig AFTER the win on Buying the 4/10.
heck, if you're in new mexico, play at the 2 casinos where you pay no vig for buying the 4/10. ie: 0% house edge

I hate the high house edge on the 5 but will switch from 3point Molly to 'Anything but 7' when the Passline # is a 5.

2) Place the 6/8 for $12 each
3) $10 Field (Triple 12)

Last I heard...years ago, the 0% 4/10 bet is long gone from Albuquerque casinos. Unless it has been reintroduced.

Any system will work...until it doesn’t. The “doesn’t work“ will happen more than it “does work“ on the long term money front. As a regular player....the iron cross catches up to you. Trips on the 12 helps knock down the vig.

Any strategy you deem “very successful”....is, imo, the greatest strategy in the world because all strategies are expected to lose. To me, very successful means very profitable.

Play it until it no longer is very successful. I would expect that to happen eventually. Ride the luck I guess.

Just for kicks... also have $100 on the pass line and then tell me what happens after a variety of scenarios.

I'd stick with a $96 across minimum for pressing purposes.

The point of having a pass line bet equal to the iron cross is to cancel the damage of a cone out 7.

I'd like to see the various scenarios for this. I don't have any simulation software.

Might wanna have $150 on the No 9 until you discard the Iron Cross and go to the Across.

Could start at 96 Across with a single unit on the 2 3 11 and 12 for 100.. but that could drop me to a minimum profit of 4 dollars if i was to hit 3 3s or 11s.. with a max profit of 58 dollars hitting the 2 or 12.. I may just have to look into that..

If I was to hedge the 7 it would be a 25 dollar any 7 on comeout.. Never a contract bet if I can avoid it.

Yep.. Cause if it hit i would break even. But I just dont worry about the 7. Sometimes it bites me others i get away with it.. 7 Has just as much likelyhood of coming out on roll 1 as it does on roll 30
