I'm the type that gets very excited as I'm winning, which is most of the time.

You're losing me here. If you sit down expecting to win,
knowing you're going to win, why would you get excited?
You just lost half the credibility you had with me with one
statement. I never get excited, why would I. Why would you.

"Negative attitude gets you nowhere and destroys concentration."

Coincidentally, This has been what many psychics and those with paranormal abilities have argued over the years. It goes back all the way to seance times. The feeling is that having a stony, negative attitude not only allows others to disrupt your energy vibes (or "the spirits"), but without some positive display action-distraction, it's hard to pull off psychic displays.

In fact, many spiritualists have had non-positive observers banned from proceedings due to their negative energy disrupting the psychics' concentration.

So what MDawg is reporting certainly jibes with that.

Note to word enthusiasts: the word "jibe" has two very different meanings.

Axel, I'm sure it was nothing personal, it just at that particular time KewlJ had stature and standards to live by. He was using a chauffeur "family" that picked him up and dropped him off every thirty-five minutes at the front door of casinos.

Wat are you doing BoSox? You have now repeatedly interjected me into this thread, among discussion that has nothing to do with me. It is pretty clear you have some sort of issue wit me.

For the record, anyone familiar with me is probably aware that my late partner, played a unique role in assisting me with my AP play. He handled most of our machine play, managed my chip inventory, and served as my driver, which for a player playing my style of hit and run is a huge time saving advantage. He was a great benefit to me in this role and I miss him personally and professionally. If you feel the need to rehash and discuss these things which I have shared, please do so in the appropriate place and stop interjecting comments about me into discussions that are not about me.

You're losing me here.

Some people are a little slower than other's regarding this type of stuff. Going back, if you remember your first instincts,.... perhap you should have listened to those in this case.

Truth be told, I've never read any of his
posts until just recently. I'm now questioning
the veracity of his claims. If you know you're
going to win any game, from Monopoly
the Baccarat, what is there to get excited about.
You would only get excited if it was a
complete surprise. The local professional bac
player I've talked about that bets$1,000 a hand
never gets excited, never expresses any
emotion. Why would he. When I play, I'm half
asleep at times. Boring.

I Know what you are saying. I have hit Manny big jackpots even one for over 100k on a slot machine and I certainly wasn't excited. And that's probably not a good thing because it's a bit strange not to be jumping up and down all happy. It may tip them off that that I'm an advantage player so now I put on a little excitement act or I'll just saying something like I'm a bit nervous.

When I won a car at Sunset Station I also had to act excited. I sure as hell didn't need another car and the $15,000 cash payment was not enough to yell about but I also didn't want to look unappreciative and suspicious. I did deny having my picture taken and posted.

I don't think it will come as any great surprise, that I too, disagree with the above, BoSox.

I vowed to share my journey, as much as possible so that others might benefit. in that same way. To see just what a professional blackjack player really is, not what the movies show, just what kind of money is possible, WHILE STILL BEING WELCOME TO PLAY and the wild rollercoaster ride of variance to get there.

I am not disputing at all your claimed winnings over the years. However, your presentation of these claims is misleading. To quote:

" To see just what a professional blackjack player really is, not what the movies show, just what kind of money is possible,"

Even above you refer to informing another singular player just what money is possible. Really that sounds rather selfish on your part. First, id like to say that I am very sorry that you lost your partner in life.
Quoting some of your last response:

"For the record, anyone familiar with me is probably aware that my late partner, played a unique role in assisting me with my AP play. I believe all of that, although, it is very apparent that the business side of the operation was a full two-person team effort. WAS IT NOT? Why then tell other prospective players what a singular professional can make? Is that misleading? I think so.

While I am happy to discuss these things with you, I am NOT going to further discuss these topics in this thread. It is not fair to Mdawg or the people interested in reading about and discussing his "stories". :/

If you wish to discuss these things either start a new thread or go back and bump one of the many thread where my blackjack play and career are being discussed.
