5 years have passed, maybe this is EB. EB joined the forum shortly after this.
Quote: richbailey86who knows if its even legit. maybe he just had a lucky 2 months. but i am thinking about buying the book with some casino winnings
This is an old story. It was faked so he
could sell his book. $28K is chickenfeed
over a few month period, no casino
would bar a roulette player for that.
Quote: richbailey86i dont see how a casino can ban a roulette winner unless they were using a device
Why's that?

you may be right. im not claiming its definitely true
i just dont see how a news organization (not just daily mail btw) would fake it
and
i dont see how the age of the story is relevant
Because he sold the secret in a book and Roulette is still being offered in casinos with the same rules.Quote: richbailey86you may be right. im not claiming its definitely true

Even if its not faked, casinos are ran by humans who make dumb decisions. They might think he cheated but fear a lawsuit or something. Could be a dumb executive who just doesn't know better. Better safe than sorry.

That's about it.
And gambling sites today are set up by... people who go out of their way to define what and how things must be discussed. (Nobody does that in their own homes, I hope.)
I miss the old sites about new "breakthroughs" every other day, even from Spike, where you got that warm and fuzzy feeling on cold winter evenings.

Is that you, Garnaby? If it is, you won't
last long here, just like last time.

At least, you didn't call me Johno.

Not enough bad grammer and misspelled
words for eagalite/johno..
wow.. looking forward to those system pal. But why the casino always ban people who find their edge in those games? Really annoying....Quote: richbailey86http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1218061/In-money-Gambler-banned-UK-casinos-winning-28-000-using-secret-system.html
Casinos as a hole don't ban players for simply winning. Incompetent management security and pit bosses do. They are subject to gamblers fallacy, superstition, roomers and fear.Quote: joeldysmithwow.. looking forward to those system pal. Any uneducated casino employee{they even employ crackpots) watching a gambling show or movie, reading any Phil Ivey edge sorting story, listening to a darkside consultant, Griffin, Orgaan, GAWE, message boards etc etc(90% of gaming employees are ignorant). They make knee jerk reactions, with a better safe than sorry mentality . For every system player they toss out, it falsely adds legitimacy to stupid systems and system players.

Borgata! LOL. Well more specifically baccarat at the Borg! Most paranoid casino one would ever step into. That is why I have never been back for a year or two. Reminds me of those rinky dink Gala joints in the UK.

Paranoid or job security? Borg is not the same anymore like the good old days. A dealer told me the reason. He said that "krɪs tə fər Phʊrd" (ex-VP of table games) was "laid off" because some Aps won $millions. Ever since there after, many winners have been put on the "the NO-GOOD list", & their comp dollars and other perks are taken away. It's not paranoid. It's job security. Now the in-charge manager makes sure that he will not be scapegoated like "krɪs tə fər Phʊrd". The manager rather chases away AP-wannabies than "getting laid off".

You can definitely see it in the dealers and the supervisors on the gaming floor. I always wonder what was up with all that nervousness and acting very defensive and fearful. Even the slightest form of outlier wagering behavior will get them buck wild crazy to the point where the upstairs will send some suit accompanied by two security guards to stop your game. LOL.
I mean if the Borg can't handle the action might as well close shop and open a Wal-Mart!
Well that goes for most of AC nowadays. Coupled with the crappy customer service one should not be surprised with all those casinos closings this year. Just sucks that Showboat went to the crapper as that was the only AC casino resembled or even at times surpassed with what I experienced here in Vegas.
