The Improved Martingale Betting System

There has been an improvement to the martingale betting system. More bets can be placed!

A 3 x 1 or higher payout propositions, plus an original bet of 1 unit gives a total payout number. This number is used to determine the number of bets that can be placed in the first betting sequence. The bets that can be placed in the second and following betting sequences should never exceed 1/2 of those bets used in the first sequence. If there are no wins in the first sequence, the original bet is doubled in each of the additional sequences used until the betting limit, 50, is reached. Whenever there is a win, the betting restarts at Bet 01 of Sequence 1.

3 x 1 + 1 = 4 (15 Bets with a 50 unit limit)

Sequence 1:

Bet 01. Bet 1 unit; When there is a loss - 1; When there is a win 3 x 1 + 1 = + 4 units, the 1 unit bet is recovered with a profit of 3 units.

Bet 02. Bet 1 unit; When there is a loss - 1 + - 1 = - 2; When there is a win 3 x 1 + 1 = + 4 units, the 2 units bet are recovered with a profit of 2 units.

Bet 03. Bet 1 unit; When there is a loss - 1 + - 2 = - 3; When there is a win 3 x 1 + 1 = + 4 units, the 3 units bet are recovered with a profit of 1 unit.

Bet 04. Bet 1 unit; When there is a loss - 1 + - 3 = - 4; When there is a win 3 x 1 + 1 = + 4 units, the 4 units bet are recovered with no profit.

Sequence 2:

Bet 05. Bet 2 units; When there is a loss - 2 + - 4 = - 6; When there is a win 3 x 2 + 2 = + 8 units, the 6 units bet are recovered with a 2 unit profit.

Bet 06. Bet 2 units; When there is a loss - 2 + - 6 = - 8; When there is a win 3 x 2 + 2 = + 8 units, the 8 units bet are recovered with no profit.

Sequence 3:

Bet 07. Bet 4 units; When there is a loss - 4 + - 8 = - 12; When there is a win 3 x 4 + 4 = + 16 units, the 12 units bet are recovered with a 4 unit profit.

Bet 08. Bet 4 units; When there is a loss - 4 + - 12 = - 16; When there is a win 3 x 4 + 4 = + 16 units, the 16 units bet are recovered with no profit.

Sequence 4:

Bet 09. Bet 8 units; When there is a loss - 8 + - 16 = - 24; When there is a win 3 x 8 + 8 = + 32 units, the 24 units bet are recovered with an 8 unit profit.

Bet 10. Bet 8 units; When there is a loss - 8 + - 24 = - 32; When there is a win 3 x 8 + 8 = + 32 units, the 32 units bet are recovered with no profit.

Sequence 5:

Bet 11. Bet 16 units; When there is a loss - 16 + - 32 = - 48; When there is a win 3 x 16 + 16 = + 64 units, the 48 units bet are recovered with a 16 unit profit.

Bet 12. Bet 16 units; When there is a loss - 16 + - 48 = - 64; When there is a win 3 x 16 + 16 = + 64 units, the 64 units bet are recovered with no profit.

Sequence 6:

Bet 13. Bet 32 units; When there is a loss - 32 + - 64 = - 96; When there is a win 3 x 32 + 32 = + 128 units, the 96 units bet are recovered with a 32 unit profit.

Bet 14. Bet 32 units; When there is a loss - 32 + - 96 = - 128; When there is a win 3 x 32 + 32 = + 128 units, the 128 units bet are recovered with no profit.

Limit Bets:

Bet 15. Bet 50 units; When there is a loss - 50 + - 128 = - 178; When there is a win 3 x 50 + 50 = + 200 units, the 178 units bet are recovered with a 22 unit profit.

(Bet 16. Bet 50 units; When there is a loss - 50 + - 178 = - 228; When there is a win 3 x 50 + 50 = + 200 units, 200 units are recovered but with a loss of - 28 units.)

When using the martingale betting system with the same 3 x 1 + 1 = 4 total payout example, 6 bets can be doubled consecutively up to 32 units. An additional 3 bets can be placed by using the limit maximum of 50 units: Bet#1. Bet 1 unit; Bet#2. Bet 2 units; Bet#3. Bet 4 units; Bet#4. Bet 8 units; Bet#5. Bet 16 units; Bet#6. Bet 32 units; Bet#7. Bet 50 units; Bet#8. Bet 50 units. Up to this bet, positive results are made when any of the numbers bet on hit. Bet#9. Bet 50 units. From this bet forward, there are negative results when any of the numbers bet on hit. Nine bets with an investment of - 213 units can be placed. Using the above format, the improved martingale betting system allows for 16 bets to be placed with an investment of approximately the same amount, - 228 units.

When using the above format with the inside bets of roulette, the number of bets that can be placed increase as the total payout gets higher:

1. Play 6 numbers: 5 x 1 + 1 = 6:

6 bets can be doubled up to 32 units. An additional 5 bets can be placed by using the limit maximum of 50 units. 11 bets with and investment of - 313 units can be placed with the martingale. Using the improved martingale, 24 bets can be placed with an investment of approximately the same amount of - 342 units.

5 x 1 + 1 = 6 (23 Bets with a 50 unit limit.)

S 1: Bet 1 unit up to 6 times; lose up to - 6, no win - 6; any win + 6.

S 2: Bet 2 units up to 3 times; lose up to - 6, no win – 12; any win + 12.

S 3: Bet 4 units up to 3 times; lose up to - 12, no win – 24; any win + 24.

S 4: Bet 8 units up to 3 times; lose up to - 24, no win – 48; any win + 48.

S 5: Bet 16 units up to 3 times; lose up to - 48, no win – 96; any win + 96.

S 6: Bet 32 units up to 3 times; lose up to - 96, no win – 192; any win + 192.

Bet #22; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 242; win + 300 = + 58.

Bet #23; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 292; win + 300 = + 8.

(Bet#24; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 342; win + 300 = - 42).

2. Play 4 numbers: 8 x 1 + 1 = 9:

6 bets can be doubled up to 32 units. An additional 8 bets can be placed by using the limit maximum of 50 units. 14 bets with and investment of - 463 units can be placed with the martingale. Using the improved martingale, 35.5 bets can be placed with an investment of approximately the same amount of - 488 units. As mentioned, the second and subsequent sequences used can only be 1/2 of the bets placed in the first sequence. As 1/2 of 9 cannot be used practically in this payout, it is suggested that either the 7 x 1 + 1 = 8 or the 9 x 1 + 1 = 10 calculations be used instead for this uneven total payout.

7 x 1 + 1 = 8 (30 Bets with a 50 unit limit.)

S 1: Bet 1 unit up to 8 times; lose up to - 8, no win - 8; any win + 8.

S 2: Bet 2 units up to 4 times; lose up to - 8, no win – 16; any win + 16.

S 3: Bet 4 units up to 4 times; lose up to - 16, no win – 32; any win + 32.

S 4: Bet 8 units up to 4 times; lose up to - 32, no win – 64; any win + 64.

S 5: Bet 16 units up to 4 times; lose up to - 64, no win – 128; any win + 128.

S 6: Bet 32 units up to 4 times; lose up to - 128, no win – 256; any win + 256.

Bet #29; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 306; win + 400 = + 94.

Bet #30; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 356; win + 400 = + 44.

(Bet#31; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 406; win + 400 = - 6.).

9 x 1 + 1 = 10 (38 Bets with a 50 unit limit.)

S 1: Bet 1 unit up to 10 times; lose up to - 10, no win - 10; any win + 10.

S 2: Bet 2 units up to 5 times; lose up to -10, no win – 20; any win + 20.

S 3: Bet 4 units up to 5 times; lose up to - 20, no win – 40; any win + 40.

S 4: Bet 8 units up to 5 times; lose up to - 40, no win – 80; any win + 80.

S 5: Bet 16 units up to 5 times; lose up to - 80, no win – 160; any win + 160.

S 6: Bet 32 units up to 5 times; lose up to -160, no win – 320; any win + 320.

Bet #36; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 370; win + 500 = + 130.

Bet #37; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 420; win + 500 = + 80.

Bet #38; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 470; win + 500 = + 30.

(Bet #39; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 520; win + 500 = - 20.).

3. Play 3 numbers: 11 x 1 + 1 = 12:

6 bets can be doubled up to 32 units. An additional 11 bets can be placed by using the limit maximum of 50 units. 17 bets with and investment of - 613 units can be placed with the martingale. Using the improved martingale, 47 bets can be placed with an investment of approximately the same amount of - 634 units.

11 x 1 + 1 = 12 (46 Bets with a 50 unit limit.)

S 1: Bet 1 unit up to 12 times; lose up to - 12, no win - 12; any win + 12.

S 2: Bet 2 units up to 6 times; lose up to - 12, no win – 24; any win + 24.

S 3: Bet 4 units up to 6 times; lose up to - 24, no win – 48; any win + 48.

S 4: Bet 8 units up to 6 times; lose up to - 48, no win – 96; any win + 96.

S 5: Bet 16 units up to 6 times; lose up to - 96, no win – 192; any win + 192.

S 6: Bet 32 units up to 6 times; lose up to - 192, no win – 384; any win + 384.

Using the improved martingale, 70 bets can be placed with an investment of approximately the same amount of - 926 units.

17 x 1 + 1 = 18 (69 Bets with a 50 unit limit.)

S 1: Bet 1 unit up to 18 times; lose up to - 18, no win - 18; any win + 18.

S 2: Bet 2 units up to 9 times; lose up to - 18, no win – 36; any win + 36.

S 3: Bet 4 units up to 9 times; lose up to - 36, no win – 72; any win + 72.

S 4: Bet 8 units up to 9 times; lose up to - 72, no win – 144; any win + 144.

S 5: Bet 16 units up to 9 times; lose up to - 144, no win – 288; any win + 288.

S 6: Bet 32 units up to 9 times; lose up to - 288, no win – 576; any win + 576.

Bet #64; Bet 50 units one time; lose – 626; win + 900 = + 274.

6 bets can be doubled up to 32 units. An additional 35 bets can be placed by using the limit maximum of 50 units. 41 bets with an investment of - 1,813 units can be placed with the martingale. Using the improved martingale, 139 bets can be placed with an investment of approximately the same amount of - 1,802 units.

35 x 1 + 1 = 36 (138 Bets with a 50 unit limit.)

S 1: Bet 1 unit up to 36 times; lose up to - 36, no win - 36; any win + 36.

S 2: Bet 2 units up to 18 times; lose up to - 36 no win – 72; any win + 72.

S 3: Bet 4 units up to 18 times; lose up to - 72, no win – 144; any win + 144.

S 4: Bet 8 units up to 18 times; lose up to - 144, no win – 288; any win + 288.

S 5: Bet 16 units up to 18 times; lose up to - 288, no win – 576; any win + 576.

S 6: Bet 32 units up to 18 times; lose up to - 576, no win – 1,152; any win + 1,152.

As with the martingale, all of the bets placed have the potential to recover all previous losses. A profit is also made when any of the placed bets hit, with the exception of the last bet of the sequence being played.

WoO and WoV do not endorse any betting system. Betting systems can change the distribution of results but they can not change the house edge. You will over time lose the same amount of money flat betting the same amount every hand/spin/roll as any betting system's average bet.

Systems, like the one you describe, work great - until that one time where it fails. At that point, you've either lost everything you won, or suddenly find yourself in a hole you can't climb out of. Or both.

Well, here, you will definitely be "comforted" with the rod and staff. My Old Man was good at that too. The Wizard himself would probably be happy to do some comforting, he's pretty good with the rod.

Don't like it......chasing loses is no fun. Try to figure out how to gain an edge flat betting.
