Quote: texasplumrThe Laughlin River Run is in April. Daytona Bike Week is going on now. It's the same week as the Daytona 500
Not true, Daytona Bike Week is March 6-15th this year. The Supercross is always in Daytona on Bike Week, not the 500. Too busy a week already to bring another event to town.

Quote: bigfoot66Normally a night at Harrah's Laughlin will be comped for me but not this weekend. Saturday night they want $250 a night. What's going on in Laughlin?
I'd guess it's either Denture Week or they are running a free Matlock Marathon.
Quote: bigfoot66I looked into that, bike week is in April. For fun I looked up room prices then and it was the same, $250 a night for me.
The River Run (biker weekend) is always the last weekend in April. It's the watershed event in Laughlin. The weather is getting hot. All the snowbirds have cleared out leaving the RV parks empty. After biker weekend it's the dog days of summer except they get a bump at 4th of July. After that its a real slow period in Laughlin until the weather breaks. But this is when the casinos come with some of their best promotions.
Mickey I have only had 1 good play in Laughlin in years, to be fair I don't activity look. Do you know anyone that still lives there?Quote: mickeycrimmThe River Run (biker weekend) is always the last weekend in April. It's the watershed event in Laughlin. The weather is getting hot. No, and I haven't been to Laughlin in over 12 years so I guess my information is dated. But that's how things used to be in Laughlin.
