I suppose it depends on if Oprah is collecting them or not. Brand new tables go for ~$3,500 USD before crating and shipping.

You see them in the classifieds and eBay once in a while, for about $1,000. At the auction they will probably go for less.
Quote: WizardI'd like to get something as a souvenir, but it's not worth the bother of attending the auction over. Hopefully some of it will filter down to eBay.

It looks like the first four days will be $10 to get in the door, and things will have price tags on them. The liquidation auction will probably start after the set price sale is over.
It looks like there are some nice neon signs.

It kind of has to. I figure a lot of what is or can be branded as Sahara memorabilia will be bought for resale on eBay and similar venues.

Not bad. I expected more.
But if a new one is $3,500 plus s&h as Ayecarumba says, then a used one from any casino ought to really be worth less than $700, depending on its condition. I'd argue one with a defunct casino's logo might be worth more as a collectible.

You're right, I should have read more carefully. The sale starts the 16th, which is the day after WoVCon. I think the group should go over there together. I'd like to get one of those old Vegas pictures by the registration desk, but then again, I'll bet everybody will want those.

I seem to remember an article mentioning that employees were given first dib's on some of the items and I remember the Photos behind the Check in were mentioned as being in demand.
Yeah. 120 days at Circus Circus. Hotel reservations were transferred to Circus Circus too.Quote: 7outlineawayWhat about Sahara chips? Are they still cashable anywhere?

The ultimate irony: close down the casino in order to lure people to the casino!
