The fish things on the other page looked good. What was the "breading"?

What about those fish cakes. How did you make those?
Btw. I just ate an entire sleeve of Ritz crackers and creemcheese for dinner. It was awesome. Now drinking chocolate milk.

Why, because I had an opinion on one of your pictures? Okie dokie

Self admitted Junkie along with his staff. Thought way too much of himself.
No idol for anyone based on how he chose to leave this world.
I’ll take Guy any day.
If you've ever eaten in one of Guy's restaurants, you know that he doesn't know, or doesn't care.

Big difference between idolizing someone and enjoying their work.
I can’t stand Guy.

The two sites are no longer connected.
Do try and keep up..
This is the best version I've had. I've had plenty of good food here, but this is the first real grand slam.
The main part is basically a type of chicken curry. It's carnished with an egg, peanuts and little slices of fried anchovy as well as a chili paste. I wasn't really that hungry but wanted to try this restaurant and I probably would have eaten any amount they put in front of me.

From watching countless travel
videos, the most fave dish in
poor countries is putting meat
and spices in a pot and cooking
it all day, hours and hours. You
can make even a mules carcass
taste good doing this, usually.
They aren't working with the
bests cuts of meat.

The best cuts are expensive and go to the few or the export market but never become part of a national dish.
Spices are most used to retard spoilage, act as antimicrobials and act as biological air conditioning.
The danger in Indonesia is with excessive intake of peanut oil and with something called 'red' peanut oil.
As in all such countries poverty induces poisoning.
Fusel oil is common. Fishing often means pouring cyanide into the water, turmeric is a spice priced by its color and therefore will be mixed with lead, particularly if destined for the export market, America.

Good post, nice to see you've
had your meds adjusted.. Joking,
kind of. He knows what I mean.
Meds? I've been so deranged by my diet that I can't recall if I've been taking my meds. I ate some bone-in chops and had two days of sustained delirium so have been taking distilled water, but can't remember clearly about which, if any, pills.Quote: EvenBobnice to see you've had your meds adjusted..

This was a fairly nice restaurant and it seemed like normal chicken parts. However, your point stands. I'd have eaten a shoe similarly prepared.

I would especially avoid places where
you have to sit on the floor and eat
out of a communal pot in the middle
with your hands, with everybody else.
And the only eating utensil is bread.

I was thinking I'd never been to such a place, but then I thought of eating chips and salsa at a mexican restaurant. Except sitting on the floor.

This is the style of eating in Ethiopian restaurants. Once I got used to it I kind of thought it was OK sort of maybe.....

I just recently had my first Ethiopian meal and I was a little confused at first. My chicken dish was served on this large pancake like thing and I didn't realize that you were supposed to tear pieces off and shovel the food with it.
I was not a fan of my meal but the restaurant got 95% approval ratings online.

Because I ground the burger myself
it only needs to be cooked to 125
degrees for medium rare, instead
of 145 for pre ground burger. Out
of this world delicious.
It has nothing to do with food safety, it’s a texture thing. Anything under medium is mushy and gross.
There’s a reason no one orders meatloaf medium-rare.

That's because meat loaf has 14
other ingredients in it besides
beef. It has to be cooked till it's
a solid mass.
Ever have beef tartare? It's raw
beef and it's wonderful. Beef
is one of the rare meats that
tastes better uncooked.

They were quite tasty. A bit pricey at $2.50 a pop but they cooked up well. Nice and juicy.
I had about 7 hours in a Shanghai suburb today. I walked all over and crammed down all I could.
I was somewhat concerned the food here would be too authentic. I'm adventurous but I'm not too keen on eating frog brains and stuff. But man, this has to be one of my top food cities.
The food tends to be fatty and rich, which I like.
It's almost all Chinese food though. So that would suck over the long term. However, as a tourist stop it was great.
P. S. Bob, I did notice a lot of people hawking lugs. Huge wind up too. Walking around every so often you hear a hhhhhhhhccccccwwwww pew!
Not in places of business tough.
Quote: RigondeauxWhite castle has frozen burgers. They aren't bad, all things considered.

I was adventurous in China.... Had fried scorpions from a street vendor. Also had some alcohol drink that had a marinated deer penis in the bottle, kind of like 'the worm' in tequila.
Since this is sort of anonymous..... I LOVE White Castle. I am very hard to buy presents for.... Once got a frozen 12 pack.... I was HAPPY!
Last night wifey made meatloaf, fresh mashed potatoes, green beans, cauliflower...... It is amazing a woman as hot as my wife can cook as well!
