You scored: 10 / 10
You scored 150 points.
The average score for this quiz: 6 / 10
Wow, what a great score! Congratulations!

I'm very surprised that 74% people got number 2 correct, had that been multiple choice it would have been very low, yet , only 66% got number 5 correct.

I knew number 8 would be low, but only 13% seems extremely low.

Number 10 seems low at only 56%.

I got number 9 correct for the wrong reason. I was thinking something different where that term is sometimes used.

Me too, particularly since that’s the only one I got wrong. :(

I agree. You could do twice as well as the average just by throwing darts at the answers. I missed it, BTW. I shoulda thrown a dart!

Read the thread to this point and almost didn't bother to click the link and try the quiz. Finally decided to give it a shot.

Result: Correct 10/10.

Now that alone seems quite odd, since I'm not much of a gambler. But the real surprise comes from the fact that while reading the questions, I recognized that I had no idea of the proper answer for most of them. It was basically a coin flip guess (or even lower chance of being correct on those multiple-choice questions), so I don't see any plausibility to the outcome of 10/10. Except that is what it reported. Hmmm ... perhaps I should have been at a casino today.

Had number 9 been multiple choice I would have probably gotten it wrong depending on what the other answers were. I wasn't really guessing since I knew what they were describing was not correct.

I'm almost certain I wouldn't have known one of the questions had RS_ not use the term at some point for whatever reason.
He may have even asked it as a trivia question at some point.

I've never heard anybody use the question number 2 term ever, I just happened to read about it somewhere in the last couple years.

Assuming someone's not an advantage player or a trivia Guru, I could probably accurately convert the the score for them.

I remembered an old tv show where they called someone a crossroads. Wasn't sure what it was but knew it was an insult. Rest was easy.

As mentioned, I missed #2 the first time.

For shits and giggles, I took it again. This time I missed #9.

Those are the only T/F questions.

So I’m 100% on multiple choice. 🤪

For someoneone who plays blackjack, I'd say yes. Too bad they didn't ask about monkeys. I found the quiz easy, that doesn't mean everyone would. I don't play craps but Little Joe from Kokomo is part of a comedy routine Abbot and Costello did. Some people retain valuable information, some retain fairly useless stuff.

The Bishop of Blackjack uses it. Perhaps I should have said anyone who studies blackjack. Back when most BJ games were handheld, people would throw down their blackjack , supposedly snapping them.
Monkey is much more popular.

I've heard dealers use it, but rarely a player. More in books than in casinos. Might be more of an AC thing.

I’m not sure if I got that one correct for the wrong reason. A $2.50 chip is called a snapper and the only game I’ve seen them used on is BJ so that just made sense to me.
