The Sands Regency, for hitting your 20th blackjack there (or maybe 25th or 15th...can't remember exactly), gives you...a T-shirt. And it's an extremely tacky T-shirt that says "I heart BJs" in really big letters on the front, so it's not really something I'd care to wear in public.

Do you still have it? I have a few interviews coming up and I want them to understand what they are in for from the start.
I have a bewitched egg that I use to play VP with and I have net over 900k with it.

LOL, I didn't play long enough to actually get it. I just remember getting the card and that the dealer actually wore one herself. I asked and she admitted to being slightly embarrassed by it.

It could have been worse - I heart giving BJ's.

There is one casino that sends me a $100 coupon for their steakhouse EVERY month. The problem is that the fine print says it's only good on both my birthday and in the month issued. So, since they know when my birthday is at this casino, why send me a coupon every month, that at first looks like an awesome deal, but in actuality I can only use on just one day of the year?

Sounds like it was worded poorly and they meant that you could use it any time in your birth month, as well as on the date every month.

Sucks if you were born on the 31st, unless they let you use it on the 30th...

I.E. My birthday is May 9th. Seems to they meant I could use it anytime in May, and on the 9th every month.

I don't have one with me right now, but I am pretty sure that it is not meant to be able to be used every month, only on your actual birthday.

My daughter has a great offer from Foxwoods. All she has to do is go to the Grand Ballroom on September 5th between 11am and 6pm with her players card and ID and she will receive a 12 pack of Pepsi. I wouldn't put it past them to charge a deposit fee of 5 cents a can. Security is going to be tight that day!

That sounds pretty tacky to me. They're not even hiding the fact that they know very few people will take advantage of the offer, and basically saying "we're so cheap, we don't want our customers to actually take advantage of our deals."

Lamest offer I've ever seen? Would have to be at the Sands Regency in Reno last year. If you play blackjack there, they'll give you a punch card and punch a hole in it for every natural you get. I've heard of similar promotions at other casinos, where the prize for 20 (or a similar number thereof) blackjacks is free slot play, or a match play, or something of fairly decent value.

Years ago in my bartending days, the local beer distributor was giving T-shirts to our waitresses that said, "If you like my mountains, you'll love my Busch!" Not many of the staff took them...
