Roughly choronologically:

Flamingo Hilton - 1st visit, wanted to stay somewhere historic, twice since, finally gave up on them due to their crappy rooms
Las Vegas Hilton (now Westgate?) - conference
MGM - conference
Mandalay Bay - conference x2-3
Tropicana
Sahara
Mirage
Monte Carlo (Three times?)
Luxor
Venetian
Sunset Station
Palace Station
Rio
Motel 6 on Tropicana (bed was on an angle)
Orleans
Planet Hollywood
Paris - 4x now, and my go to favorite, although most of that is due to location and great parking

I've never stayed downtown.

Based on what little I can recall, I may add a little story on each property. Some of these were quite awhile ago.

1) MGM Grand
[ ~1994 ]

I had been to Reno before on business a couple of times, but this was my first trip to Vegas. I think Mrs Q and I had visited my brother in California, and on the way back home, stopped in Vegas.

The first thing that struck me about MGM was the huge check-in area with a huge long line to stand in, zigging and zagging back and forth until it was your turn. It was like being at a busy airport trying to check your baggage.

The pool was nice.

At this point in time, they still had the Wizard of Oz exhibit:

You could also walk around the MGM Adventure Park, which we did. I guess these were the days when Vegas was trying to figure out how it could make the most money, and obviously somebody thought that could be by attracting more families.

The only thing I can add is that there are few or no strip casinos that I haven't stayed at.

Edit: I am pretty sure that I have not stayed at Casino Royale.

So, Favorite / Best ?

Worst ? ( Lemme guess, Westward Ho. Mrs Q would be in complete agreement. That hotel motel was like stepping back to the 60's

Most Over-rated ?

I started going to Vegas in the early 1980's. This is my hotel list. The Stardust was my Favorite. The only comped room was at the Fremont. I started playing at Boyd's Blue Chip Casino in Indiana to earn it.

Stardust ( stayed in the garden rooms out back and the tower rooms)
Maxim
Luxor
MGM Grand
Fremont

I am finally able to update my list AGAIN, woot x 2. But first of all, I am dropping this one from the list, in hindsight it stretched the definition of Las Vegas a bit too much:

11) Buffalo Bill's ( technically I guess this is Primm, not LV per se but close enough for my list )

I am adding:

29) GREEN VALLEY RANCH
- Somehow Mrs Q got a comp there so we stayed 2 nights to start our Summer 2021 trip.
- It was very nice and we would definitely stay again if we could work it in.
- I think I can consider this one Las Vegas even though it is technically in Henderson.

30) ARIA
- 3 Nights, hey THANKS myVegas.
- The room was nice, best feature was his and hers sinks in the bathroom. I would not rush back, though.

Rest of List:

1) MGM Grand [ ~ 1994-ish, but not exactly sure ]
2) Flamingo
3) Westward Ho ( gone )
4) Lady Luck ( reopened this year as the Downtown Grand )
5) Stratosphere

6) Aladdin ( now PH )
7) Tuscany ( several times )
8) Boardwalk ( gone - Business trip )
9) Tropicana ( Business trip )
10) Riviera

11) Buffalo Bill's ( technically I guess this is Primm, not LV per se but close enough for my list )
note: BB's had a roller coaster and a water ride, so that was kind of interesting

11) Terrible's - Couldn't make it to McCarran on-time due to an accident on I-15
12) Encore
13) Treasure Island
14) Rio (multiple times)
Fun Fact: Best Thing About Rio.....
Palms is just a short walk across the Street

15) Hilton Grand Vacation Club - Conv Ctr
16) Crestwood Suites near the Rental Car Building ( yuchhh - wanted a cheap place on a Friday, would NOT stay again )
17) Cliffs at Peace Canyon
18) Planet Hollywood Towers (Now ELARA)
......"VERY NICE"
19) Bally's

20) Imperial Palace ( now The Quad ) [...now the LINQ]
21) Harrah's
22) Alexis Park Resort ( thanks to a good rate found on KAYAK.com )
23) Holiday Inn Desert Club Resort - This is REALLY NICE
24) Paris [ July 2014 ] ..... now multiple times

25) Palms
26) Trump Tower - this was long before he was "45"

27) Bellagio (2021) - Thanks myVegas, we just had to pay the Resort Fee ( $ 52.40 per night ). I think PARIS is better, overall.
28) Gold Coast (2021) - Surprisingly Nice Boutique Room Atmosphere, Would Stay Again
