Hey there!

I am a representative of the company, that is engaged in making online casinos absolutely legally, so we decided to make a poll here to understand how many people naturally consider online casinos to start up. Please write here down what's your opinion about an online casino and please describe your most favourite one.

By the way, if anybody needs any details, contact me via PM

Play reasonably and be gamble aware :)

This is just spam to try and get people to open an affiliate casino for this guy. First you pay for the website and right to operate it, then you have to market it, which is impossible to do and then you give them a percentage when you get your friends to try it. Run away as fast as you can.

I did private message casino1337 find out what this was about. So far he didn't ask me to buy or invest in anything. He did say he would like my opinion on various casinos and what I liked About them. Obviously they have some type of service dealing with online casinos they would like you to purchase. I don't know they're actually directly asking people to do so here. It would be nice if he gave us more details on the name of the business. I have no idea if this is some indirect Ploy to get people to ask him about setting up an online casino. I wouldn't doubt that's the case. I certainly don't mind seeing where this is going to go. I actually have some kind of an interest finding out more about how to set up online casinos and what services they offer.

I would highly suggest he contacts the Wizard and tells him straight up what he's doing, and then asks for permission. It seems to me that the Wizard has been fairly lenient when people have actually asked for permission first.

Thanks for your reasonable reply!

We do have some services we are offering to our potential customers, but this topic was created for a different reason - to get people's opinions about what's their ideal casino and whether anybody would ever consider to start his or her own one. Here is nothing commercial concealed, or something. Just genuine interest :)
Sure, if you want to know more details about what we're offering and how we're working, you can always write me in PM, because I have no intention to parade our work-related things here in public.

Play reasonably!

other than the fact that it might be against the rules in the Forum, is there a reason why you don't want to talk about work-related things here in public? Assuming the wizard says it's okay, would you then be willing to discuss and answer questions about your business model? Asking people to contact you via private message to discuss the stuff does sound a little suspicious. I really do think it would be much better to be upfront out in the open and honest about this whole thing. Depending on what it is, I think most members here don't care if someone is advertising something as long as we know what's going from the start and it's not some kind of betting system, scam or con. Of course, I have no idea how the administration feels about all this. If it's gambling or casino-related and it's not in direct competition with the Forum, I can't see why anybody would have a problem with it.

Hi,
I'd love to know how some of these casinos sustain their business models. Obviously, most 'buy-in' or lease software and live dealer facilities, and I suppose some work on revenue share with the software and platform providers. Beyond that, it's just a case of having a massive bankroll covered and then drawing in the users.

I guess the bankroll has to be underwritten in some way either by a consortium of wealthy backers. But they'll want their revenue share.
Marketing seems to comprise a mix of paid ads, affiliate schemes and free bonuses for users.

But with the tight margins on straight games ( <5%, I expect down to <0.5% on some ) I do wonder how any online casino can afford to operate, let alone promote itself. I actually wonder how some bricks and mortar casinos prosper.

Oh, and to answer the questions posed:
My favourite online casino is Grosvenor operating in the UK. I play very few games there, but what they have are ideal for my purposes and they treat me with respect and offer me reasonable promotions. And they settle promptly.
I've played with smaller, and more loosely regulated casinos and been stiffed by some, usually in the form of them not liking me winning and reneging or stalling on their withdrawals.
Psalm 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Proverbs 18:2 A fool finds no satisfaction in trying to understand, for he would rather express his own opinion.

I know nothing about on line casinos but it sounds like you would want to lease as much as possible for a piece of the action. Keep a smaller piece of a much bigger pie.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Hi Alex!

I just first thought it was prohibited to post here any work-related things or like advertisement, that's why I asked people to ask anything in PM, just not to bother anybody here who are not really interested.
I do hope wizard approves this topic, if anything needs to be negotiated, then it is not a problem really! I am open to any questions or something, because we are not working with something suspicious.
As regards our business model, we've been a gambling aggregator, working with well-known games providers from all round the world. We provide our customers, those who are wishing to start an online casino, with our own platform, containing a number of games from those providers ( Maybe you've heard of Microgaming, Endorphina, Habanero etc ), payment solution, like payment methods so that players can withdraw and put their money legally with no problem, and we help our customers obtain a gambling license with an eye to legalize the future casino.

I do hope my post is in direct competition with your forum!

Hi Casino1337
Advertising and the posting of promotional links is/are not permitted except for when express permission has been granted... and it seldom is. Equally, pushing promo links or touting for business by Personal Message is forbidden.

Normally, you would be directed to negotiate a promo deal, but for the time being, since you are actually interacting and potentially giving us general information, your posts are being tolerated. No offence, but that may change.

I think there is general curiosity as to how these business models work and you may give illustrations in this thread if you wish.

However, I sincerely doubt if any members here would take you up on setting up a casino for them.
