How do you “wipe down” cigarette and cigar ash on table felt?

Seems to me it will simply be spread it around, blow it off the table (that’s a good idea). Good luck keeping it out the chips or wedged into the rail felt crease.

You would have to have people walking around with mini vac’s to suck it all up.

The entire “clean room”....”ICU clean” is a farce. It’s not workable. Slot players tend to jump from machine to machine with smokers leaving a trail of ash all over.

Good luck with all of this. No wonder Sisolak is sitting back and not even muttering a word on when to open. He knows this is all unworkable.

His press conference almost made it sound like he was resigned to finding a vaccine before moving to phase 1.

I’m not hung up on it at all I really don’t care. Just pointing out they’re just not going to actually be doing what they say they will if you understand how majority of floor people work. The amount of time ash trays and empty unattended drinks generally sit there is an indicator. Majority of them who aren’t gung ho on trying to move up into middle management the entire motivation tree for what they do is either to 1. Avoid blame. 2. Avoid work.

Ever noticed that since Jerry Patterson claimed dirty ashtrays are an indication a table is hot, that they don't seem to clean them as often.
Its the Swami Pastrami effect.

Do you think casinos will turn to new games or retreat until the situation is clearer?

I think Casinos will use New-Ways to play Old-Games (Blackjack, Poker etc) and not turn to new games.

e.g. Common-Hand Poker® Common-Hand Casino Hold'em® Common-Hand Blackjack®
Combined the Land-Based Casino-Players with UNLIMITED Online-Casino Players and/or ETG-Terminal (Touch-bet) Casino-Players.
Playing on the same Live Table on a SINGLE-hand of Casino-Poker, Casino Hold'em® or Casino-Blackjack.

How the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Plans to Reopen. https://bit.ly/2VCE81O

The Wynn Las Vegas has called for a reopening of the Las Vegas Strip by May 15. But what will a reopened Wynn Las Vegas Resort look like? Wynn Resorts recently released a 23-page "WYNN LAS VEGAS HEALTH & SANITATION PROGRAM" plan that details exactly what they intend to do when they reopen, and how. Missed my last video on the topic? Watch "How the Las Vegas Strip Will Change When it Reopens" here: https://youtu.be/pBLzNwNW7pQ

Venetian has released their reopening plan. Sounds very similar to Wynn’s.

Highlights:

•Thermal cameras at every resort entry point, with secondary screening of anyone reading 100.4 degrees or more. Those confirmed with a high temperature will be referred for medical treatment.
•Hospital-grade disinfectant and UV lights will be used in high-touch areas and items like bell carts and luggage.
•Providing a face mask for all guests. Guests can also use their own face mask, though masks that obscure the whole face are prohibited. Every guest suite will also receive gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.
•Emergency Medical Technicians on site 24 hours a day.
•When it comes to social distancing, the Venetian said it will promote distancing on the casino floor, at pools, at meeting spaces and in restaurants.
•Hotel desks and offices will abide by six feet of social distance.
•Guest queuing areas, like front desk lines or taxi lines, will have markings to encourage social distancing.
•Hotel elevators will be limiting to four people at a time.
•Gondola rides will be capped at four riders.
•All restaurants and bars will have reduced seating.
•Meeting and convention areas will have seating separated to accommodate social distancing.
•Pool seating will be rearranged to accommodate distancing between groups

A look at the Wynn’s setup. Seems pretty invasive.

LMFAO at tables supervisors sanitizing chair and rail after every single player leaves and every dealer sanitizing on/off buttons. It’s not going to happen, as much as players move they would be spending the majority of their shift doing that, put on a cleaning uniform instead of a suit.

Let me just put this out there for everyone ...... you know that smell you get inside a nice clean hospital room. This product leaves that smell behind once cleaning is done. Oxivir ....it is a hospital grade cleaner that is proven to kill germs like Coronvirus. Its pretty quick at doing its job too.... usually in 1 to 5 minutes!!!

Or you could use Virex 256 which has a 10 minute wait time to work on the germs. Guess what .... this product is so much cheaper than Oxivir . Virex 256 meets hospital needs also.

You can get those wipes like the Clorox ones in stores and add the cleaning product you want to use. Wipes removes the chance the spraying mist of products getting sprayed in the wrong direction. Again a added cost to cleaning.

A quick spray and there you go its now safe isn't the case.
