I guess it depends a lot on what level you are at. At around level 400, those were only good for 12K of the gold ones. So better than nothing, but a ticket to KA is 40K. Beatles LOVE is 70K.

It's been this way for quite awhile. I posted about it when it happened a while back. However as far as I know the tickets are still redeemed online through Ticketmaster so I dont believe they are enforcing it for shows. However that may have changed recently.

Disclaimer: I bought a few chips. Occasionally there is a special where you can get hundreds of millions for $ 3. So I don't feel too bad about that. Cirque show retail pricing ain't cheap.

Yikes. I致e seen Love probably 4 times now for free thanks to MyVEGAS.
But for some reason in December lots of the rewards are always blacked out for weeks at a time, and it痴 not even busy in December!
I see lots of complaints in the Facebook groups about the fees you have to end up paying for the "free" NCL cruise vs. when MyVegas had the Carnival cruises.
I am very tempted to book one of the 7 day Caribbean cruises in March. The only thing holding me back right now is the airfare from Detroit to Florida in March is insanely expensive at the moment, even on the cheap-o airlines like Spirit and Frontier.

My only cruise was through a casino on NCL. For 2 of us it ended up costing something like $700 with gratuities which included the drink package. I was very happy with the cost. With airfare and hotel before the cruise plus onboard crap and excursions we spent right around 2k. I thought it was very reasonable for what we did and got and plan on doing it again. You get a receipt when you get a drink so we kept them all for fun so we could add it up at the end. We spent over $700 on alcohol.
I also hit a Royal on 6/5 JOB and got a royal on nickle vulturing UX. No pic of either though since there is no cell coverage and no reason to carry a phone.
The total cost was $362.08 (taxes, port fees, admin costs), plus $15/day gratuities. That is per person. So for two people it would have been $700+. This is for an inside stateroom. I didn't ask about upgrading because I upgraded to a balcony last time and hardly ever used it.

Fyi, you can remove the auto gratuity by going to the desk and asking to have it removed

I think they do or at least used to. In the terms it said something like total due is 200-500.

Admin fee is $20/night. So $140 for my 7 night cruise.

I havent been playing much and missed this error. There are some people pretty pissed because they actually bought chips. Took advantage of this error and they took everything back. So they went back to where they were but had lost money on their purchase. Granted they did get all the LPs so I personally dont think it is that bad.

As far as maxing out the LP meter goes, is there any solution to earn LP quickly after that? I'm at over 40 billion chips and hit my meter's cap recently and can only earn like 1k loyalty a day now. Will waiting a few days let me earn it rapidly again or how does that work?

I think it痴 cumulative by year. I thought it was 2k/day but maybe they lowered it to 1k/day.
Assuming the cap is 1k/day: So if you didn稚 play for an entire year, you could earn 365,000 in one day and then it would lock you out. And then the next day you could earn 1000 before it would lock again, and then the next day you could earn 1000, etc.

I was supposed to cruise March 21st. So that obviously isn't happening now.
Called the Casinos At Sea line to change it and I found out they'll let me use the MyVEGAS cruise certificate for ANY 9 day or less cruise before Dec 31, 2022.
I picked a Caribbean cruise with basically the same itinerary on the NCL Breakaway for August. Hopefully we will be back to some sense of normalcy by then.
I also got 250 mins of free wifi and a $100 onboard credit that I didn't have for the March 21st cruise, so I'd say it worked out well!

Maybe the representative I talked to was wrong? I致e seen other people report that they were only able to rebook on any 9 day or less cruise through Sept. 31 of this year with their MyVEGAS certificate.
Anyway, I see NCL has just canceled all sailings for a month. Glad I called yesterday, the phone lines will be crazy now. Only had to wait a couple minutes to get through.
Right now ARIA PATISSERIE is a very good reward. The wording on the prize description is horribly confusing, BUT you get the food prizes for free, you do not have to spend $ 30. It means you get $ 30 in value. I got the salmon sandwich and the apple fritter thing. Both were very good.
