You're not seeing the entire picture, and instead seem to be forming your opinion based on other's past indiscretions.

I have no opinion. I didn't accuse you of anything, I just said that is where I would usually see that kind of behavior. It's pretty rare to see a new member come in with remarks pertaining to forum administration less than twenty posts in.

It's true that I have not yet contributed much. I disagree with my voicing vehement opinions though. Just because a certain member of the in-crowd tries to claim I'm whatever a "sock puppet" is and he turns out to be wrong (which I'm sure you & he would rather have "so far" added to that statement) it doesn't mean I'm some trouble maker from the other side of the tracks. There appears to be a lot of suspicions around here, and I understand I have to accept it or leave.

I said that there was no IP Match, so you're good. Absent an IP match or some other evidence, you're fine. Does it not occur to you that another member would not have been likely to make such an accusation did the thing in question not occur fairly frequently?

I'm not as old as many of you but I'm no rookie to the gaming world either. So when I used the term mind-boggling, it's because of the length of the thread about suspensions and the huge amount of effort that's being put in to such a, in my opinion, time-wasting topic. I don't know of any reasonable person who would disagree with that.

The Forum has been around awhile. The more recent thread was started 3/3/2016 and has some 1,060 posts. That was 654 days ago, so that thread has less than two posts per day. By the standards of any other thread, most would consider that inactive. 1.62079510703 PPD, to be precise.

The rate that banned members return is a testament to this site's popularity.

This is the place they keep coming back to, to have their voice be heard. If it was really so awful, they would just move on.

The new policy of deleting previously banned members new posts is probably the best way to deal with it.

This is ugly. Is it possible for anyone new to Vegas trying to live from gambling not to lose 50% of his/her Bank Account? Perhaps the original poster was dreaming a bit to win 60k in a year from 40k but I read that post and they were asking if it was possible and if it wasn't possible they asked what was more realistic? I noticed nobody answered the question? I will try to ask a new question? If you have 40 thousand dollars for gambling only and gambling on all games in general what can you expect as an hourly rate? Not including some promotion or mistake, what could someone with general knowledge expect to make per year?

I would think that you would have a learning curve of some sort but you should be able to make a living in Vegas off of 40 thousand shouldn't you?

Here is a little bit more expensive to live than vegas, as a rule of thumb between 5&10% returns of total bankroll over a period of 80 to 100 hrs per Month. Thatís playing a number of games with the total exclusion of blackjack as itís a no go here for counting.
I know the term on average can send a post sideways so Iíll refrain from using it here. Some months you may need to do 120-150 hours to get 5-10% of bank. Some months less than 80hours ( rare). As per previous posts no video poker here either to support the income stream.
Yes you are correct first couple of years was a big learning curve and could have cried foul at anytime, worked out what I wanted to do , believe I can do it , saved a gaming only bankroll ( as per previous posts other threads) and conducted my play as a business first and foremost. Dealt with my own particular idiosyncrasies and pushed forward. The mind is the hardest part to control after youíve had a bad day at the start of the course youíve set yourself on.
I may not be mathematically gifted as you all are, but Iím earning a modest living under less than ideal circumstances as a comparison to what I have read that is available to a professional gambler in Vegas.
For someone that has fear itís better they find any excuse they can to not be able to make a good lifestyle in Vegas. Just for the record Iím a glass half full personality and I do find the opportunity presented on occasion.( see)
Some say you can profit from having a mentor or a support group to help you through those initial start up days. Maybe.
Personally I say donít bother , you make better headway on your own , as you can be sidetracked very easily and too much external input can keep the doubt lingering longer than necessary.
Gather as much information as you can ,paper trade as much as you can ( re various apps available now ) add a few personal rules and when youíre ready . Bang on . As we like to say.
If I may offer some advice,I found the most improvement in my current endeavour, came when I no longer felt the need to justify myself, my income or anything associated with gambling to anyone . I also stated in another post I no longer do egotistical things to uplift myself. My apologies if this reply post seems like bragging as itís not intended that way.
As stated elsewhere but to recap here I donít drink or take drugs while Iím working, I donít engage in heated discussions at the place of work, I donít have lustfull or romantic relationships with anyone in my work environment, I donít work while Iím ill, I donít work if Iím under a time restriction, as soon as fatigue has become a factor I stop immediately, regardless of profit/ loss , I donít work without my proper daily gaming bankroll. If Iíve had an argument prior to work I donít work, if Iím uncomfortable due to whatever reason I donít work, please note I do have self discipline in regards to above mentioned statements.
These are the other variances not factored into gamblers mindset. That must be addressed if you wish to minimise the extra erosion of gaming bankroll. Example being drinking to relax drugs etc
Yes the proper use of casino benefits must be utilised, BUT , should NOT be the main reason you allocate a portion of gambling bankroll just for the sake of redeeming some promotion. Prime focus is that 5-10% returns per month, the benefits will happen as due course.
Read between the lines there and use common sense at some stage during the month your at 7% of bankroll , the monthly casino benefits may actually put you in the 9% return already. Take the rest of the month off. Life is meant to be enjoyed
Kind I hope this helps regards
Merry Christmas.
P.s I am studying pai gow ( $100/ $75 minimum here so need to paper trade for awhile as will impact gaming bankroll ) as per wizard site as it appears to be an extra income stream that I can utilise, I have used and still use craps ($10 min here )method re wizard as well Big thanks wizard .

Letís get this straight we will call a pig a pig and nothing but a pig. Ok. Before everyone gets out of shape re my post this thread before this one. Iím not promoting a method, no system, no nothing. Iím mostly promoting a work ethic in any event you engage in. As an EXAMPLE, You people that do video poker as a profession let me ask this question when you are drinking, taking drugs or are tired while you play how many mistakes do you make that costs ( potentially) you your profit, and you know you just blew a big part of your bankroll . The margin we work with is slim, donít make it more difficult by self destructive behaviour. Control your bankroll monitor your lifestyle as you work that in itself will contribute up to 1-1:5% returns on your bankroll alone. Donít get disheartened and emotional on that losing session and blow more cash out of frustration you know we all done it at some stage along the way we have been on such a emotional downer that we basically say f##k it and throw that last bit of bankroll into the machine in disgust . Yeah. ! Have you ? Thatís all Iím talking about.
Hello everyone there is NO holy grail in system town, no city of methods in gambling NONE. Be methodically and practice your self designated rules/ protocol will help. Thatís it
If that constitutes a system promotion on my part , I think it may be time for me to stop posting here. Because all you have control of is yourself and how you play and what and when you play. . Check wizard call sign. Thatís succinct.
Kind regards
Merry Christmas

Yes, no one this thread, but on another thread words mentioned etc and YES I may have added one and three together and got 7 out ie over reacted or got crossed threaded ( pun intended ). Nevertheless I took the opportunity to nail the true intent of the previous post I made on this thread, before it could be misconstrued etc and everyone starts tumbling down the merry Christmas rabbit hole.
Kind regards.

It's taken a while to get used to your writing style, but I think you have an interesting perspective. I appreciate that you dropped the peanuts thing after I asked you to a while back, as well. I hope you continue to visit and post.

Must depend on a member's background, is all I can think of.

Yes thanks maybe I read to much Gary Larson and Calvin and Hobbes, as I totally get the humour that seems to slide past other people. I did notice the peanut lead balloon. Thanks for waving me off that road. Southern Hemisphere the peanuts gets a laugh.
Shoot, Iíve been reading Calvin and Hobbes to god daughter as bed time stories every Thursday for the past 4 Yearís. Oops 🙊
Hopefully she turns out ok. Although she has this fixation with the baby sitting skit re Roslyn . We read that one nearly every other week .
Kind regards
Merry Christmas, enjoy.
