We got over to South Point and played a little of the $0.25 9/6 multi-strike JoB coming out even after 30 minutes of play. We looked for some single line $0.25 9/6 JoB and didnít find any. There were some three-play machines, but no single line. I thought that South Point was the king of video poker.

I can vouch for the single line 9/6 JOB at South point. They are in front of the Crown Royal bar, and there are only about 6 of them. They are multi-denom, and if you choose nickels or dimes, they are 6/5 JOB! Only for quarters will you find the 9/6.

Great report.

Great report.

I love staying at Encore. Havenít stayed at Wynn yet.

Does Wynn have any 3/2 blackjack for $15 or $25? I havenít seen it there in ages, but I also havenít looked too closely.

Thanks! We were looking to play for quarters. I don't think we checked out the ones close to that bar. We'll look for them next time.

I did see that the pay tables did fluctuate based on denomination and did see some 6/5 pay tables too. Yikes.

It's getting harder to find a good gamble in Las Vegas these days. I believe most of my problem on the losses this trip was over-betting the bankroll -- $1 JoB, $10 craps, etc. -- I suspect I'm way undercapitalized to play at those stakes consistently. Even so I got in all the sessions I wanted to and didn't come back completely busted. 8-)

We've stayed at the Wynn for most of our trips. We did have an Encore room on the 2015 trip. Both are very nice, but the thing about the Encore is that you feel about 5 minutes further away from wherever you want to be.

While we were there the Wynn had lots of 3/2 blackjack at $25 pretty much anytime of the day. Be careful about the table though. There is a big group of 6:5 blackjack tables by the gift shop/café. Many tables go to $100 or $50 in the evening, but you can typically find a $25 table if it's not too busy.

I did play at a $15 3/2 blackjack table at the Wynn, but that was around 7AM and the casino was largely empty. I'm from the Eastern time zone so I'm typically up and out the door at 6AM Vegas time to get in a few gambles while my wife sleeps in. She's not keen on standing around a craps table for an hour. I sometimes like to be rolling on the don't pass which can draw flak from other players so it's easier to play however I like on empty tables.
