It's really up to the charity. Sometimes the event is solely for a closed group of members, friends or family, patrons etc. Others, like ours, is open to the public. No matter if it is a closed or open event, it still requires a license from the State and operates under the same wager regulations ($15,000 per-day).

The wager limit drives me nuts because at our big 4-day event in the spring, we reach the wager limit most nights by 9:00 PM. That means lost admission's revenue, lost gaming revenue and lost food and beverage revenue. Nobody wants to come in to a gambling tent if they can't gamble. We could easily sell $50,000 worth of chips per-night and still leave all the tables at $1 min. /$5 max and make the same 35%. However, it would be on a bigger amount. It's simply maddening to me!

I am not sure if this is the right thread for this. But, I believe I found a bug in the LIR practice game on the wizardofodds.com website. I was playing a practice game and got paid for a straight that I didn't make.

I wasn't sure if I would be allowed to paste the image of the webpage here. So, I will describe it in text.

My cards were the 5S, 6H, 3S.

The community cards were the 7H, 3C.

The game said straight and paid me.

Interesting.

FWIW, you are welcome and encouraged to paste that kind of image here. I think it would help the developer find the bug. IMO it sounds like a mismatch between one of the card images (graphic) and what was actually dealt in the programming. Like one of the graphics files is assigned wrongly. But what do I know?
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Well, I wasn't able to upload the image so I'll leave it at the text.
