The topic came up at lunch. After a search, found out it was basically true. He bets sports, and big(by most folks standards).
I am curious about a couple things, perhaps someone here can help.
The photos of tickets all seem to show M Resort as the book. In the recent news, I read that the head guy at "M" was arrested and it was related to several other legal sportsbooks, to Cantor Fitzgerld(the New York investment group) and off shore bookmakers.
The photos also indicate he wagers for example, 100,000. flat to win 90,something vs. 110,000.usd to win 100,000.. While not so unusual to some, to others we always wagered 1100 to win 1000. etc.. This seemed "odd" to me. Only me??
Did/Does he simply have a deposit/credit at this particular sports book(s) and the rest is history?

Did another search and found this:

so I guess, if the link real, he does sometimes lay the vig.

That is real. And Oregon made him a cool million.

Also mayweather lives out by the M, so I am sure they will not only take his action, it is close to home

Thanks for that info. I wasn't aware. However, I still have this sense there is something to the relationship with the New York Cantor and the offshore bookmakers and the arrests discussed elsewhere. Action like that most certainly has to be laid off I would assume? The credit/deposit information is also needed for a crafty eye to look at it all. Or, as I guess is the norm, pay attention to politics and your own house. I've seen no mention of boxing wagers either, which strikes me as interesting? Cheers.
