can you explain why you want to make only 1 bet per day? I have seen promotions where you had to make a visit and st least bet per day for 30 days and you received a bonus.

For arguments sake to counter your reply lets assume no gas involved. We live in the house next to the casino.

What a horrible place to live.

That's a bit overboard what's wrong with living next to a casino if you don't have a gambling problem? Especially if you had an advantage.

Back when Palms had the FPWD progressive with mail, drawings and promotions. They have a decent gated apartment complex right behind it. Assuming a guy was retired, I can imagine that would be a perfect situation. Add someone skilled at poker and it's even better.

That may be the best question asked on here. Since every bet is a game against
the casino with a HA , one bet is better than many, unless its HA is higher than
cumulative HA on all your bets working. Say a horn bet against a 6 & 8.

If you were very close to a casino so the cost of the drive was not a problem
I would watch the table a tad to make sure something unusual was not going on, and
i would wait for a line win and a next pass point of 5 or 9 and lay the point.

A win pays me about 71.4% if my lay and there is only a 19% chance on average of
the guy making a second point.

I have not put this on a simulator... but I bet it would do better than most ways of play

that 19% is B4 (s)he has made the first point, of course

once the point is made AND you lay the 5 or 9 (YES!)

you now have a 40% chance to lose that Lay bet (4/10)

unless you are me, and how could you B,
where i only have abouts a 33% chance to lose that Lay 5 or 9 bet
i am really so lucky with my bet selection timing and shooter point qualifier method!

you bet HOW MUCH?
no need to simulate i say, but simulation IS fun
how about simple math and hit the craps table (1+1=2)

BTW,
do not be like the single Mom from Utah (was on April 2, 2015)
she was not supposed to be in a casino but still managed to
smash Grandma Pats world craps hand record of 154 rolls
it (the worlds record) looks like it now stands at 163 rolls!

I would place a dont pass...

Or I would place a bet that the valet would still take 10 minutes to bring the car out...

Sally,
This is the second time I have seen mention of a 163 roll record but can't find it through google. Do you have a link to the story, I really want to read it but keep coming up empty. I might be searching wrong. Thank you.

Thanks

I just wanted to Guage what peoples favorite bets to make was on craps

If you could only place 1 bet it would be a bet someone was confident in.

So was just curious

Im learning the ins and outs

Can someone explain to me why after a point is made placing the 5 and 9 is a good idea?

Wouldnt placing the 6 and 8 be a better idea
