Small dice at the Four Queens?

The Four Queens was mentioned in the Wynn discussion as being a good place to play.
They also have decent/nice rooms and good reasonable room rates. A good steakhouse as well.
However, my last visit many years ago, the craps games used dice which were smaller than most(if not all) other casino's and believe it or not, I had trouble seeing them at the other end of the table. I think they also had the spiral sort of imprint(as did Binions) but for sure, smaller at the Four Queens.
Is this still the situation there? I simply didn't enjoy the game because I could not see the dice.

No. The occasional ten dollar min is the main downside besides general downtown atmosphere.

I haven't measured them or anything, but last May they seemed exactly the same as dice in every other casino.

They did remove one table and replace it witha Roulette Wheel, but I was just in there about 5 days ago, and everything seems fine to me. I'm pretty damn picky too.
They now only have two craps tables instead of three though.

I never saw more than two tables open at once. That was in may last year FWIW. If I can't find a spot at the tables this year, I'll bitch about it ;) Otherwise no.
There was the one time I wound up playing at Binion's, precisely because I couldn't find a spot at the 4Q. The third table was closed when that happened.

Very small dice are often sold as novelty items... they roll seven and eleven quite easily... as a matter of fact its often impossible to roll anything else.
Some crews object to the color of a layout and the color of the dice being too similar but I've never heard of "small" dice being in use anywhere.
Frankly if any player really has doubts you will be surprized how a quick word to the Box will have the Stick bring the dice to the center for Box inspection and serial number comparison.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe there were also 5/8" and 11/16" allowed in addition to 3/4".
I have bought 5/8" casino dice - with serial numbers - a few years back. I can see them on small tubs, they're very hard to DI.

I played at the Queens a couple of months ago and it was fine. At that time the dice they were using were entirely
different than the ones used at Binions or say the Las Vegas Club. They use the frosted dice and they are very very
slippery. Harrahs in Laugflin uses those as well. They are very hard to hang onto and you need a slow throwing motion
to keep your set from splitting prior to release.
The 4 Queens and PLaza have the best bounce on the table downtown, i would hate to see them go to the frosted dice,
which may also be the smaller ones.

Hello. I am not talking about "small" dice, just smaller than normally seen in a casino. One thing I remember, not that it matters much, is you could not see the numbers until the dice were fully seated and motionless on the felt. This felt odd for some reason. As for frosted dice, I also recall that in addition to the sort of spiral paint/imprint/?.

This is what I refer to. Is 3/4" the standard size and used at most casino's? When you say "allowed" do you mean by the gaming authorities or some stuffed head floor "manager"?
On this same topic, what about colors? I recall green dice at the Claridge and Playboy Club in Atlantic City years ago and have seen gold dice some place. I've also got the idea there are different shades of your typical red dice. Regarding the lay out felt I don't seem to focus on that memory wise. Cheers mates. Nok the Kook

You know, I thought it was all in my head, but it seemed like they were smaller when I was there earlier in the year. I'll have to take another look the next time I visit.
