Quote: Beethoven9thWhere is it located? I don't recall seeing one there, although it's been a while since I visited.
It's not at PH. I think the way I described it has gotten it confused with the bubble Shoot To Win game. It's only at the Quad and it's just like DJTEDDYBEAR
Described it.
So:
"Electronic" Craps: fully automated game with a slot for your players card. Dice are in a bubble and you "shoot" by pressing a button.
Rapid Craps: Semi-automated game, no slot for players card. You shoot the dice as in a regular craps table (excep there are no obstacles). The dealer inputs the roll and the system does the rest. You bet on a touch screen, and you can tip the delaers as well. you get paid in chips when you color up.
Quote: sicklernI see this thread is 7 months old, but I am curious to know if anyone can confirm that Rapid Craps that was at Bill's is actually at the Quad. Talked to someone with Harrah's and they only said "if it isn't listed online, then we don't have it". The game is not listed online.
I'll go and find out next chance I get for you. I doubt it. That game is called "snail craps" by the dealers as it moves at a snail's pace (and generally doesn't earn).
Fleas use the game for free drinks is about it's main purpose. If you do want to shoot into an empty tub, it's a unique opportunity, however. But you really have to bend over to shoot and it's not natural at all.

Thanks, we are going to Vegas in mid-November and just learned that Bill's was under renovation/renaming. We have always enjoyed ourselves at that table; would play from noon to 9pm for three days straight and by the end of the night everyone at the table had a nickname and the same faces seemed to show back up.

It is a remarkably good deal for the player if you're not disappointed with the unusual shooting positions or the speed at which the game goes.
I don't use this kind of tactic to get free drinks because I play enough anyways and always tip the waitressesQuote: AhighI'll go and find out next chance I get for you. I doubt it. That game is called "snail craps" by the dealers as it moves at a snail's pace (and generally doesn't earn).

I HAVE been upset that the cocktail waitresses were coming around so slowly, a 90 pound teenager couldn't get a buzz. So i walk up to the bar put in a $20 play 3 hands, tip and leave. One advantage to ticket in ticket out.
I just cant stand the term FLEAS used when describing people who don't want to pay $10 bucks a drink. To each his or her own.
A high roller craps player may consider you a FLEA.

Hey, I absolutely resemble that remark! Ask any dealer who deals to me!

Yes, the shooting positions can be difficult at the middle positions, but we usually opened the table up and would sit at the turns and had no problems throwing the dice. The speed is definitely slower during the day as most first-timers tend to show up, but at night the speed is good, especially when large payouts are done automatically. I also like the roll counter and number frequency display; makes it easier to start betting on a double 6 when one hasn't shown up for 200 rolls - if you're a statistics believer.
I thank you in advance for checking to see if it is indeed at the The Quad.
I consider tip hustling dealers fleasQuote: AhighHey, I absolutely resemble that remark! Ask any dealer who deals to me!
