They've added Organic craps (pop bubble) at SHR Tampa. Also, amazingly, they've apparently set the vig wrong on the buy bet. Rather than 1 dollar, it's one CENT for every 20 bucks! 20 dollar Buy on the four/ten paid $39.99. I hit it hard tonight and won a lot. Enjoy it while you can until they fix it!

Very few. I think you have to earn something like 400 points for 1 dollar Comp, and I played for a long while with a decent amount of play (over $100 on every roll) and I don't think I got to 400.

Everyone was talking about it there pretty openly, though I still saw people placing the numbers. Others would say, "Um, put it there and win an extra 99 cents!" and the idiots would say "Nah, I don't like the buy bet..." Sheesh! Nevertheless, I doubt that it would be my post here that would cause them to realize it. Supposedly it's been like that for the few weeks it's been there, and there are a lot of big mouths, yet it's still there. For all we know, it's a promotion like the casino in New Mexico with the no vig 4/10.

Nice find ... I know you said the points earning value is virtually 'nil .. so ignoring that about how much advantage percent-wise does this swing for the player?

I'm not a big craps player but my understanding is that with a 1 penny rake or vig per 20.00 bet on those particular numbers, the bet is just about paying true odds.On a long session, the odds are you may lose about 50 cents to a buck. Not bad for fun but no way to get rich. If the place had decent comps, I might be all over this machine. In fact thinking about stopping by and checking it out myself. I actually saw the actual machine about a month ago when they just brought it in. Kind of funny looking with 2 huge dice in the center covered by a big plastic bubble. All seats were taken when I saw it. I simply gawked at it a few minutes on my way to the buffet. I'm gonna take a longer look this time.
By the way this is a gigantic casino. Bigger then anything in Vegas. When you have a monopoly on slots, video poker and blackjack in the area, you do killer business regardless. Alot of business is from Orlando. Closest Casino hundres of miles away. The comp system sucks because they dont compete with anybody. FL law prevents free alcohol drinks so thats another minus. The pay tables on all machines is weak. They do have a good buffet which I love. Generally I hit the buffet then play video poker limiting my loss to about 20 to 40 bucks due to the weak pay tables. Luckily we have 2 other poker rooms in town, Horse track and dog track, so there is competition between the 3 poker rooms in Tampa so good deals there.

True odds (0% HE, no advantage on either side) is paying 2 to 1 on the 4/10. A one cent vig creates an advantage in the casino's favor but well within any reasonable session's deviation. I have a feeling with any kind of rewards whatsoever you have an advantage play.

Just got back from Tampa Seminole Hardrock. Yup,its only 1 cent per 20.00 bet on buy 4 5 9 and 10. Plus, its only charged if you win. I played for about 40 min just to check it out. Bought in for a 100.00. I was just making minimum 10 dollar bets, usually buying the number 5 . Was down 60, made it back to about 100. decided to call it quits coming out just about even. Just not my game. Kind of mindless, not a whole lot of thinking. Moved over to video poker, which I love. Only played about 5 min. Best game is deuces wild 97.58%. Every other game paid slightly less. Gonna be in downtown Vegas in 2 weeks, would rather save my video poker money for that then play a 97.58% machine.

I didn't investigate all casino Vp (big place, yup) when I was there, but I noticed high limit room had better VP at high denominations. Not sure if they had less than $2 ($10 per hand) in there, and don't know what Deuces paid.

saw that organic craps but all spots were filled every time I went by.
There's no secret. Just know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.

I'm likely going back tomorrow and will let everyone know if it's still $.01 per $20 vig on all buy bets.

Still the best bet in the house. Buy the 4 or 10 for, say, $25, you get paid $49.99. Just remember that Organic Craps takes down your buy bets when they hit, so you have to pay attention and put them back. Yet there are still people cheering when Aces come up, indicating they are playing the Horn! I stopped playing the Line completely and just bet the buy across, with the bets turned on every roll. Also, you can basically see every time you've won an extra hundred bucks over the place bet, because the "cents" in your bankroll slowly goes down since you are winning an extra 99 cents (or $1.98, etc) every time. It's funny that it still requires the 5 and 9 to be an even dollar (22/24/etc) bet, and the 6 and 8 have to be in units of 5. It's not like the computer isn't contending with pennies anyway!

(For dark siders, the lay is exactly the same...sometimes i moved the bets to the Lay on come outs)

Made a short side trip there from Orlando last week.

Played VP long enough to lose $ 35, oh well.

It was easy to get to, right off the Interstate. Best
part was the Rock n Roll memorabilia.
