I went 0 for 100, two times in a row, in TDB 100-play, before. Never hit a A-4's with kicker when holding 3 of a kind + kicker that session....although, I did hit AWAK twice in one play, while holding 2 A's only.

I can't imagine anything worse than playing free to play VP. If you want something to do while traveling, deposit $100 online and get a 100% bonus with reasonable WR's. Usually it's not worth playing because it's a low hourly but if you enjoy free to play at least you can get +EV. If you're willing to grind .5 denominations you'll have a good chance to show a profit. They usually have weekly and holiday bonuses AND FREE bonus money.

No. if you have three of a kind, and the other two cards add to the same value as your three of a kind, it counts as quads.
example.... 99954 would count as quads

Yes -- one of the even with a dealt 5-card hold.
I used to think that only one of the dealt cards or re-drawn cards were the "multiplier" card and would flip over, but that a held-card couldn't go into multiplier mode. I lost my sh*t the first time I got a dealt hand and ended up with a multiplier!
EDIT: For you DSTP fans -- what total multiplier (excluding 0, 1, and anything greater than 20, obviously) are not possible?

I've never hit the 20, live game or the phone app, and have only seen it once. A lady had the deal multiplier on a dealt royal here at MGM playing 2 lines of triple play. She got $40k.

It's your "outs" to make a winning hand. In the picture above you needed 1 of 4 sevens left. So your odds, on each hand, were 4/47 to hit the straight. Since you have 100 hands, you should expect to hit about 8.5 straights... I don't think holding 4 to the gut shot is the proper play though. Were you just testing something since this looks like play chips?

I think the page I read was the odds before being dealt your hand. I know that after, the odds change. Obviously I could hold a loser and "brick" all 100. I searched for that page and couldn't find it. Oh, and it's just Videopoker.com

Inside straights are proper in games like DDB and especially in TDB. Not because straights pay more (they don't -- they pay 4 or 20-for-1), but because 2 pair pays 1-for-1 and especially in TDB where 3 of a kind pays a pittance at 2-for-1.

Like RS said, most non-wild games where 2 pair pay 1 for 1, gutshots with no high cards are better than nothing.
0 or 1 conversions out of 100 gutshots is 1 in 708. No conversions at all would have been 1 in 7293.6.
