Has anyone ever tried/ tested...
I have played this way in the past with decent sized units and would quit shoe at plus 3-5.
Has anyone tried this? If so, has you had any luck with it?

Has anyone ever run a simulation with this type of progression? Or would anyone be interested?
And before the maths police start calling me names again (because theyre so tough on internet forums lol) I understand its a -EV game and will lose :)

So, then, what are you hoping to learn from the simulation? People don't usually waste time running sims when they already know the answer.

I know I hate those tough guys disproving my betting systems, using math and everything. They are just jealous.

I've seen this played on the field bet (Craps) was wondering what the guy was doing, he did very well for that day, watching him start with $25, 50, and he would go up a chip when he won but then he still bet multiple chips when he lost like (Decreased 1 chip) he did well with it. (for that day)

Id think alot of people wouldnt waste their time commenting on things theyre not interested in either but apparently not so.

It busts out every time, unless you quit early. It costs you everything you are willing to bet. No sim required to figure that out...

If you play long enough, you eventually bust out with probability 1. This is true regardless of betting strategy, for any finite bankroll, for any minimum bet > 0, for any game with expectation less than or equal to 0.

Ok, what do you mean by "bust out" then?
The only way that you can avoid losing everything is to quit before that happens. So, what are your quitting parameters?

I restart progression if I lose my 3rd 8 unit bet, this is what I was meaning by busting.
I will usually finish session if 3-5 units infront and re set progression at end of shoe.
EX.
bet 5 w +5
bet 4 l -4 (+1)
bet 5 l -5 (-4)
bet 6 w +6 (+2)
bet 5 w +5 (+7)
bet 4 w +4 (+11)
bet 3 l -3 (+8)
Stop when you win 1 unit bet or profit = 20 units
