The curried pork sounds good, I just wouldn't eat any of the other stuff in it.
usual I'll overnight some to DRich, he
loves my food.

So sad to see what a good cook you are and your wife isn't there to eat with you I assume. Works for you, but it would kill me. If a woman tried going backwards on me, I'd rather be alone before I replace her. I don't stress as much, can't live with her is better but not by much. I need a down ass bitch, not a bitch.

Why is that sad, I love eating alone. I hate eating in restaurants,
always have. I've never liked eating with other people, wives
included. I just like to cook it and eat it all by myself. Why would
I want somebody else there. I don't want to talk when I'm eating,
I want to eat when I'm eating. My wife is a very picky eater anyway,
like so many women. She doesn't like 95% of what I make. She loves
bland American food like mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese
and white dinner rolls and creamed corn. Anything in the least bit
spicy she won't touch.
I'm eating Chinese food now, the satisfying kind. Ten minute. Hmm hmm hmm. Speaking of Chinese food, how disgusting is Fish sauce? For those who don't know, it smells and tastes reminiscent or spurring the imagination of an ass. It's so disgusting, and smells so vial and foul. I I didn't think it was really made from fish, but the bottle in the fridge says number one ingredient is anchovies.
Chinese take out is so compelling to me, once I have the craving, I have to have it.

Love fish sauce. I used it on the
fried rice tonight. I have it always
available.

Did you forget to put your hand on your lap after clicking post again?

It smells so bad. One thing most people don't know is how great Sesame Seed oil is, that has been a gift to discover.Quote: EvenBobLove fish sauce. I used it on the

Did it from my phone. No excuse.

But tastes so good. I love anchovies,
I'd put them in everything if I could.
They make fish sauce by putting
everything in a barrel and letting
it rot (ferment) for a few weeks.
veggies and gravy.
I may be mis-remembering, but I believe I saw a fish sauce manufacturing location in Thailand, kind of like a brewery tour. Also agree with Bob on the 'let fish rot' comment.....

Talk about fish smells...
Occasionally I cook for the dog if we run out of dog food or I have meat I need to get rid of.
I’ll just throw meat, frozen veggies, and rice in boiling water and forget about it for like an hour. Dogs will eat poop so they really don’t care if it’s overcooked mush.
This time I boiled a freezer burned cod fillet for maybe 45 mins - hour or so. The whole house smelled like the bay in AC, not necessarily a bad smell...

delicious - it's necessary to be picky on the brand of guac that you choose

Way better to make it yourself. Real easy.

Google Dos Caminos guacamole recipe. It’s delicious. At the restaurant (it’s a chain in NYC) they make it fresh table side.Quote: EvenBobWay better to make it yourself. Real easy.

Looks good, makes me want to
boost some extra avocados and
make it.
Greek yogurt is another excellent source of protein to eat in the morning for me ...

Lots of leftovers, I made 5 cakes
in total.

Damn you!! I would eat the salmon cakes but you can have the turnips.
ham gravy.
This looks good.
I had a brown sugar Pop-Tart for breakfast and a turkey burger patty for dinner. I ate the Pop-Tart uncooked and the turkey burger plain with no bun or anything else.
Eight eggs
One cup oats
Eight ounces cheddar on crackers -- keep meaning to switch to cottage cheese for less fat and more protein, but forget every time I go shopping.
One pound carrots
Two oranges
12 ounces mixed veggies
Two 12 ounce cans of tuna
Bag of popcorn or corn nuts
Two to four protein bars
Had White Castle for the first time a few weeks ago, can't think of any other major adjustments to this. Some minor stuff like sardines instead of tuna, two pound bag of mixed veggies, or grilled cheese instead of cheese and crackers. Also four cups of coffee with soy milk and two energy drinks. Looks to be about $15 per day, which doesn't seem too bad for like four meals and four snacks.

You eat 2 cans a DAY? That's wayyyyy to
much mercury. I eat one can a month,
maybe.
Quote: DRichA little off topic but I made a dinner reservation at a restaurant for Saturday. I am very excited to eat out for the first time in 8 weeks.
I didn't know Macdonalds took reservations.
