They built the monorail to cash chips. You have to look for the station behind New York New York a little bit. 500 chips so hopefully it is better than Wolfgang Puck and the other small places.

The new singing game seems to have some decent payouts, but my advice would be to play with the sound off. Gets annoying after about 5 mins.

Speaking of which, MGM Grand Megastars is paying double VP through Sunday night (10/20). Be warned; in addition to the annoying music, the game makes you play 40 lines, and it looks like it has high volatility.
Side note: in the Hi/Lo bonus round, the singer's song goes up in pitch if the number is higher, and down if it is lower. (If only she would sing it before I had to make the choice...)

Interesting. Now I can get pissed off when I pick wrong sooner! And I still play with the sound on because the singing is so corny I get a laugh out of it. And it's def. volatile. I am down probably over 200k at 2000 per spin.

Over the past week or two I had worked up to 4 mil in red chips, mostly playing basic strategy blackjack at 40K per hand.
But I'm back down to 1 mil as of this morning.
I have leveled up quite a few times as well, and have plenty of gold points for my next trip, whenever that will be. It would be nice if I could get Mrs. Q's account up to a decent gold chip level.

I hate the person who started this thread. Since I saw this thread for the first time last week I have become addicted. In 8 days I have made it to level 40 and almost 20k LPs.

I HEAR YOU. i didn't find Myfagas from using this site however, i started playing it a few weeks after it started, and begged my GF to play it, she did only under protest. Now I have created a monster, earning comp we don't need. I enjoy playing the game also, and I guess it isn't any more or less of a waste of time than watching most of what is on TV these days. I have had some more good runs at Blackjack and have scratched and clawed my way up to 6+ mil red chips. I don't have a return trip planned yet, but the gold chips I have should help me eventually stay at more hotel properties I haven't stayed at yet, which is one of the things I would like to do.

BTW, there is an Android app (still beta I think, not sure about iOS) out now. The chips and experience are completely separate from the Facebook game but the LPs are connected.

I keep going broke on slots so now I play till I have 5k left in chips and then use BJ to grind my way back up to 50k. Rinse and repeat. I was upto 100k earlier today but I blew all of that.

I have played a ton of blackjack, probably 25 sessions, and never once won anything. I'm playing blackjack strategy, and I never even get up. Whats the deal?

I don't think that blackjack plays by normal rules. Seen way more 21s dealer side than there should be. I heard a lot of people get their chips back that way though. Sure some experts would be willing to share how they approach it. I personally just tread water playing minimum on slots to grind levels.
There is a new bonus game that just came out. You play slots and get items like other games but this time you use a scratch card. You have a chance for a higher bonus(first level is 2k as opposed to 500-750 before). Also the final level gives LPs as a bonus.

I'm not an expert, but I do have about 4 mil red chips as of right now. And I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before.
I credit most of my chip stack to being able to grind away and catch some lucky streaks playing Basic Strategy on myVegas Blackjack. I think Crystalmath posted his thoughts that BS BJ was a good strategy to level up.
But before I had a big chip stack to weather the variance, it felt like I lost most BJ sessions. So I feel your pain.
And one final thought, the BJ rules are actually pretty liberal for the player, with Dealer standing on Soft 17's.

Yeah myVegas rules are great rules for any "lowroller": S17, 6 decks, shuffle every hand, DAS, Split once, no surrender. House edge: 0.457%. Good luck finding games that good in the Midwest/Tunica. And from my experience...my results seem about right. Close to even when I play it. I still often play the slot games though when promos are going on because I can auto-spin slots.
Also saw this on Facebook today:

I don't really play myVegas anymore the rewards seem to be mostly buy one get one now which doesn't appeal to me.
When I did play I only played BJ and didn't get chips any other way.
I just looked and I have about 3mil in chips and 300k in gold chips.
I have never redeemed any.
The advantage or the mistake to exploit in their BJ game comes in the form of the bet spread (1-50.000) oops!

3 comps were used in March, 75 bucks at Sportinghouse at NYNY, 75 bucks for 2 steak dinners. 2 tickets for Terry Fator.
3 comps, Premium ticket to LOVE, Brad Garrett's Comedy Club, and a free entree at delights are waiting for me at the Mlife deck. I'll be using them in November.
I spent 29 bucks on chips and have already gotten $450 in shows and food. I have enough coins left for 7 free midweek nights.
The only free things left are rooms and I hope the hold out for a few more weeks. I would like to go back in January but this requires a net in November or December.

Anyone have a hotel room they have bought with gold chips and not had the resort fee charged? I heard it is hit or miss for most but the one that always seems to charge the resort fee is Circus Circus. I would like to have a free room that is actually free.

I have not been charged at Mirage (twice-May and Sept.), MGM Grand (once-Sept.), and Monte Carlo (once-May). I think djatc was going to be charged at MGM Grand until he complained, if I recall reading correctly. On other forums, I have read Luxor, Excalibur, and Circus Circus usually charging. Not totally sure about Monte Carlo generally because I think our May trip, it was standard practice to waive the fee back then. We may have just "lucked out" in September. Generally the nicer the place, the less often they seem to charge the fee. And if you do end up getting charged, you could try to fight it. And also with Luxor and Excal usually charging the fees, it makes the value of rooms like MGM and Mirage jump significantly.

The rules are stricter than they used to be on the 4th redemption though. I think you need to spend $50 or more at least to get 4.

No resort fee when I stayed at Aria last month. It was on the bill, but they took it off when I said it shouldn't be there. Bought the reward back in april when it was 2 nights free and no mention of resort fee. I did pay $30/night for 2 queen beds. Looking back at my reward it just said deluxe city view room, while the more current reward says deluxe king. Probably could have gotten the $30/night charge waived as well, but I was fine paying under $70 for 2 nights at Aria.

Yeah Aria seems to be the most lax on the fee from what is said here and on other MyVegas groups. Maybe because they are the most expensive, I don't know. A weekday comp is about 165k LPs and weekend was close to 400k last time I checked. On the flip side Circus Circus was maybe like 20k or so but haven't heard of anyone that has been able to duck the fee.

idk if this has been said before but on the myvegas mgm megastars slot game, its terrible design having two symbols that look too similar. the two blue-haired singer girls. like one should have green or purple hair or something instead of both blue hair.

Even real slot games have this issue from time to time. IGT's "Cats" have two symbols that look a bit similar. I have confused myself into seeing a winning combination when it wasn't there. The tigers (blue background) and leopards (green background) sometimes throw me:

I think they design it that way on purpose for at least 2 reasons;
1. They want to give you that roller-coaster shot of adrenalin when you think you've got a big win at first glance, and
2. They want to mess up skill-stops on games that use them with fast-moving graphics, trying to tease you into hitting the stop when something very similar is going by. I think all, or nearly all skill-stops are an illusion, but maybe a few are legitimately random. On those few that seem like you do have some control, nearly every good symbol has another very like it in color proportion and graphic. Don't know for a fact any of this, though, as I'm not a slot programmer.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I was hoping I would be able to report that I had scratched my way back to 10 mil in red chips. But that wasn't to be. I am currently bouncing around 9 mil, but have been as low as 5 to 6 mil in the past week or so.

OK, not that anyone gives a sh&%, but the order in the universe has been restored ( hey, you're welcome ! ) and I am back to 10 mil red chips. I figure this is pretty much a lifetime supply playing BS Blackjack at 40 to 50K per hand.

Is there someone back home in your home state you trust with your FB info? Could have them log in and try out.
Also I heard they took down a few rewards like the Cirque shows and so forth. From speculation it sounds like a mix of some shows going dark and also better rewards being offered on the mobile app to get people playing that.
Not sure how true it is, just what I have been reading on various groups. Make of it what you will.

I see that they raised the maximum XP per deal (that includes multiple hands at once, but not splits or doubles) from 15K to 20K. Still, that means that bets of more than 40K won't get you extra XPs unless you can split or double.

You need to read the terms and conditions when you purchase your room. The Aria weekend comp says resort fees will be charged at check-in.

Anybody else suddenly have their MyVegas app start up slow? It gets to 95% loaded, then takes something like 10 minutes before the app actually loads - and then it takes another 5 minutes for the game you select to load.

its working fine for me. I currently have my mobile app auto spinning and my desktop version doing the same. Both loaded with no delays.

If you haven't played for a while, they are finally doing a decent promotion. They are doing the 12 days of Xmas promotion where you get 3 scratch cards a day and the last one usually has a multiplier on it. I am level 113 and the last card was 1500 x 20 spins or so per ornament in which you only needed 15 for the last puzzle.
That isn't the best part though The best part is that you win LPs everyday. Looking at what I win, I'll get 10k extra LPs by completing the cards each day. After the fiaso of the last card that was like 7.5 mill xp to finish(I was 3 short on the last card when the time ended), this was definitely a welcome change.

I had enough chips to play the whole promo tonight, and I thought it was just OK. I liked one of the previous promo's better when I think you got a ton of chips at the final step (which I got).
I've got a ton of gold chips between my acct and the Mrs., so I hope everything is still "good to go" with myVegas for my next trip in March.

Just started playing this a bit over a week ago and have just under 20k of the yellow chips. Not playing constantly, maybe an hour a day on the iPhone and every couple of days on a laptop. What would be a reasonable amount of yellow chips to expect to accumulate between now and say march? Have a vegas trip at the end of April and would like to try to get a few buffet comps and perhaps a weeknight comped room somewhere (mirage probably).

When I collected my bonus this morning it said 67 consecutive days. I play every day on my computer for at least an hour and at work my phone spins on auto for at least an hour. I have accumulated 110,000 in the 2 months. I will say though that the first 50k came really easy and it has been a little grind for the last 60.
Maybe an easier way to figure it out for you is based on levels.
I am currently at level 80 on the PC and level 65 on my phone.
